The Super Bowl is right around the corner, and like companies everywhere, the league has surrendered to the “woke” mob.
But one sports figure just landed in really hot water.
And now a major sports franchise owner just got horrific news.
DEI programs, “woke” advertising, and other social justice-friendly marketing campaigns have often taken precedence over results.
NBA owner and Shark Tank co-host Mark Cuban should know better.
But Cuban froze up in fear after he was called out for his “woke” schemes.
Mark Cuban could face some serious legal trouble after making these ill-advised claims online
For many years now, Democrats have worked tirelessly to advance DEI programs in American businesses and schools, making it harder than ever for certain races and demographics to advance.
Even some so-called moderate Republicans have adopted this radical racial game, putting “wokeness” before everything else.
For example, business mogul Mark Cuban, who is a vocal critic of former President Donald Trump, has taken to X in recent weeks to gloat about his extensive DEI programs.
Notably, he found himself, as a result, on the end of a hilarious troll by Elon Musk in which the X owner suggested who Cuban should hire to play for his Dallas Mavericks – the NBA basketball team partially owned by Cuban.
But Cuban has doubled down. And now it appears he’s in legal trouble following one of his recent fits of self-congratulation about DEI policies.
Cuban recently tweeted, “I’ve never hired anyone based exclusively on race, gender, religion. I only ever hire the person that will put my business in the best position to succeed. And yes, race and gender can be part of the equation. I view diversity as a competitive advantage.”

At the end of the post, he shared a link to an account known as “the Rabbit Hole,” which had fostered the conversation about DEI, prompting Mark Cuban to chime in about his own experiences on the matter.
It did not take long for the internet to react to Cuban’s post, with many voicing their concern, and even outrage, regarding Cuban’s support for DEI programs.
Cuban’s post got the attention of Andrea R. Lucas, Commissioner of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, who quickly clapped back at Cuban for these “woke” claims.
Per Lucas, “@mcuban, EEOC Commissioner here. Unfortunately you’re dead wrong on black-letter Title VII law. As a general rule, race/sex can’t even be a “motivating factor”—nor a plus factor, tie-breaker, or tipping point. It’s important employers understand the ground rules here.”

Soon after, Senator Eric Schmitt of Missouri simply replied to Cuban’s post with “[C]all your lawyer.”
As of yet, no legal action against Cuban has been formally announced.
In recent years, Mark Cuban has earned a bad reputation amongst conservatives, given his virulent attacks on former President Donald Trump and his supporters.
In 2020, Mark Cuban went as far as to say, “Look, personally I don’t have a problem with the guy. Now professionally as the president, I think he’s an idiot. You know, I never thought he was smart in talking to him.”
Mark Cuban’s “woke” hiring practices have infected countless businesses and institutions across the nation
Although Cuban’s remarks may seem shocking, the truth is that countless businesses and institutions across the globe have adopted these practices when it comes to hiring and promotions.
Rather than finding the best people for the job, many “woke” individuals are more concerned with filling quotas and checking diversity boxes.
American colleges and universities are notorious for such counterproductive behavior, even in the wake of the Supreme Court’s ruling striking down the use of affirmative action in admission practices.
