A Florida Teachers Union Had One Scary Requirement For Kids In An ICE Protest

Teacher unions spent decades claiming they exist to help kids.

Now they're organizing children to protest the deportation of criminal illegal aliens.

And a Florida teachers union had one scary requirement for kids in an ICE protest.

The Six Words That Just Exposed The Whole Game

Zander Moricz stood at a Florida Education Association podium and said six words that should make every parent's blood run cold.

Not "students should protest" or "students can protest."

He said protesting ICE is "required."

Required means mandatory. Compulsory. No choice.

The same word schools use for math class and fire drills.

"Florida students are confronted with videos of ICE raids, of families being torn apart, and of Americans being murdered for using their constitutional rights," Moricz told the February press conference.

"They respond. They organize, they speak out, and they do what American students have always done in moments of injustice. And that response, while framed by some politicians as radical, is rather than reasonable. It's rational, and in a moment it is required."

Moricz left out the most important details.

He's a 20-year-old Harvard dropout who took a gap year to run a political operation bankrolled by $2 million from wealthy Democrat donors.

His Social Equity and Education Alliance isn't some scrappy student club – it's a professionally staffed nonprofit with offices in downtown Sarasota, partnerships with Democrat campaigns, and organizers planted in every Florida school district.

Moricz became famous for suing Ron DeSantis over Florida's Parental Rights in Education law and using his high school graduation speech to push LGBT activism after administrators told him not to.

He's graduated from manipulating his own classmates to weaponizing other people's children against federal law enforcement.

Florida Education Commissioner Anastasios Kamoutsas saw through it immediately.

"Teacher unions are again using children as pawns to carry out their radical political agenda," Kamoutsas fired back.

"Their actions could result in lasting consequences for a student's educational record – yet they are willing to put politics above what is best for students."

Kamoutsas already contacted superintendents throughout Florida.

Dozens of students face discipline.

Then he said what everyone's been thinking: "It's baffling how such a nefarious organization that commits fraud, files frivolous lawsuits and encourages chaos in schools, still remains in existence."

The Money Trail Tells You Everything

These anti-ICE protests didn't spontaneously erupt from concerned teenagers.

Democrats fund them and adults supposed to be teaching algebra execute them.

Moricz's SEE Alliance received two $1 million grants from the Jonathan D. Lewis Foundation alone – $2 million to organize student protests.

The organization raised $50,000 in two days after his viral graduation stunt.

They opened a physical headquarters with art rooms specifically for making protest signs and have an active organizer in every Florida school district.

Professional political organizing disguised as student activism.

Minnesota schools receiving federal funding got caught with anti-ICE resistance manuals and training materials – tax dollars paying to teach children how to obstruct federal law enforcement.

Students at a Texas high school beat a man bloody during an anti-ICE walkout.

A Nebraska student got hit by an SUV during a Fremont High School protest.

Her mother blamed administrators for allowing protest materials to be made during class time.

Chloe Day School, a left-wing public preschool in New York City, staged an anti-ICE protest with preschoolers holding anti-Trump signs.

Four-year-olds can't spell "ICE" but adults handed them political protest signs anyway.

School choice advocate Corey DeAngelis nailed it: "The Florida teachers union says children protesting immigration enforcement is REQUIRED. They're using your kids to advance their political agenda. These socialist unions must be destroyed."

Children become unpaid campaign workers for the Democrat Party.

Teacher unions donate millions to Democrat campaigns every election cycle, mobilizing your kids as foot soldiers in their war against Trump's removal of gang members and child predators.

Governor Ron DeSantis: "Our kids are not pawns for political activism. Education, not indoctrination."

They've Been Running This Con Since The 1960s

Teacher unions perfected this decades ago – turn classrooms into recruitment centers for left-wing causes, then claim they're teaching "civic engagement."

The Red for Ed movement from 2018-2020 was the dress rehearsal.

More than 375,000 education workers walked out in 2018, most in states where public sector strikes were illegal.

Nothing happened to them.

Frame political activism as "social justice" and you get away with anything.

Oklahoma and Arizona and West Virginia teachers walked out supposedly over pay and school funding, but these walkouts morphed into voter registration drives for Democrat candidates, campaign volunteering, and recruiting teachers to run for state legislatures as Democrats.

The American Federation of Teachers grew by 100,000 members the year after those walkouts.

Militancy paid off.

They've applied the exact playbook to ICE – swap "school funding" for "immigrant rights" and run the same operation.

But parents wised up.

COVID school closures ripped the mask off these unions.

Teacher unions cared more about keeping schools closed and preserving their power than educating children.

Parents watched their kids fall years behind academically while teachers demanded more money to work from home.

The "we're doing this for the children" routine doesn't work anymore.

Commissioner Kamoutsas and Governor DeSantis understand the stakes.

Every student who walks out and gets disciplined receives a permanent mark on their record affecting college admissions, scholarship applications, job opportunities, and background checks.

The adults organizing these protests – the Zander Moriczs of the world with their million-dollar budgets and Harvard credentials – know exactly what happens to kids with disciplinary records.

They encourage children to risk their futures anyway.

Child exploitation in service of a political agenda.

Florida is finally fighting back.
