Police Records Exposed the Sick Illegal Alien Democrats Brought to the State of the Union

Democrats turned an illegal alien into their poster boy for everything wrong with Trump's immigration enforcement.

They paraded him into the State of the Union, hid him from federal agents, and called him a great American.

Then a reporter filed a public records request – and what police wrote back should end the conversation.

Seth Moulton Brought Marcelo Gomes da Silva to the State of the Union Without Asking This

Representative Seth Moulton (D-MA) brought 19-year-old Marcelo Gomes da Silva to President Trump's State of the Union on February 24 as his honored guest.

Gomes da Silva is a Brazilian national whose visa expired years ago – making him, by federal law, an illegal alien subject to deportation.

When DHS called Moulton out by name during the speech, his chief of staff hustled Gomes da Silva out of the House chamber and into the congressman's private office to shield him from federal law enforcement.

Then Moulton went on MSNOW and delivered exactly the performance you'd expect.

He called Gomes da Silva "a great American," "a patriot," and "a reminder of what courage looks like" – and said America should emulate him.

The Boston Herald started digging.

Milford Police Tie Marcelo Gomes da Silva to Sexual Assault Report and Democrats Never Checked

The Herald filed public records requests for two Milford Police Department reports – one from June 2021, one from September 2021 – in which Gomes da Silva was apparently named.

Milford Deputy Chief John Sanchioni denied both requests – and what he wrote back is the last thing Moulton needed to read.

The June 2021 report "involves a sexual assault and juveniles." The September 2021 report "involves juveniles."

Gomes da Silva denied the allegations through his lawyer, telling the Herald: "I have never assaulted anyone. I have never been contacted by the police about any accusations of assault."

His lawyer has since requested the reports and was also denied.

Moulton's office told the Herald that "according to our review, Marcelo has never been charged with a crime."

Technically true. Tells you almost nothing. It also means Moulton knew enough to pre-prepare that statement – but not enough to ask what those reports actually said before plastering this young man's face across every left-wing outlet in America as the face of the anti-ICE movement.

He turned a man he never properly vetted into a national symbol. Then hid him from the federal agents trying to do the job Moulton refused to do himself.

Democrats Turned Law-Breaking Into a Costume Party

Moulton wasn't alone. Every Democrat who brought an illegal alien to the State of the Union was running the same play – manufacture a sympathetic face, weaponize it against ICE, and dare Republicans to look heartless.

Chuck Schumer brought a Venezuelan illegal alien already placed in expedited removal proceedings.

Rep. Jesus Garcia's guest was labeled a "domestic terrorist" by DHS after allegedly ambushing federal officers.

DHS said it plainly: "While Republicans are bringing victims of crimes committed by illegal criminal aliens to the State of the Union, some Democrats in Congress are planning to bring illegal aliens."

The day before the speech, ICE had arrested pedophiles, rapists, and violent criminals across the country.

Democrats called that cruelty. Then they asked those same agents to look the other way while they smuggled their chosen guests through security at one of the most protected buildings in America.

Moulton Owns Every Word He Said

This wasn't bad luck. It was bad judgment – the predictable result of a congressman who needed a moment for his failing Senate campaign more than he needed the truth.

Moulton toured the ICE Burlington facility twice and told reporters the agency's "abuses need to be prosecuted. Not just defunded – prosecuted."

Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons called those words "disgusting" and "pure political theater."

Lyons was right then. He's more right now.

Democrats don't vet their props. They just parade them.

The Herald is appealing the records denial. Whatever those reports contain, this much is already clear: Moulton put his Senate campaign above his constituents and above the truth. He called a man he knew nothing about a great American – and now he owns every word.
