Joy Behar Made One Wild Statement That Has Conservatives Laughing Out Loud

Joy Behar has been melting down on national television ever since Donald Trump won reelection.

But this time she outdid herself.

And Joy Behar made one wild statement that has conservatives laughing out loud.

The View host uses Nazi comparisons to attack Trump's border enforcement

Joy Behar went completely off the rails during a recent episode of The View's Behind the Table podcast.

She compared ICE agents to the Nazi Gestapo while claiming Trump wants to "go to war" with NATO and Minnesota.

"I've watched too many World War II movies and watched jackboots pulling Jews out of their homes and beating them up on the streets to not make the similarity very clear to me," Behar said.

Wait, it gets worse.

Behar praised far-left Minnesota residents for resisting ICE while complaining they haven't been able to stop the enforcement operations.

This wasn't the first time Behar made Holocaust comparisons to Trump's immigration enforcement.

She pulled the same stunt back in 2019 when Senator Michael Bennet appeared on The View.

"He's going to raid these people's houses and what have you, it's really reminiscent of Nazi Germany," Behar said at the time.

Bennet, whose mother and grandparents were Polish Jews who survived the Holocaust, immediately shut her down.

"Look, my mom and her parents were Polish Jews who survived the Holocaust. I'm not equating the Holocaust to this," Bennet said.

Behar's infamous ignorance of basic history strikes again

But the Nazi comparison wasn't even the most absurd thing Behar said on the podcast.

She claimed America was "at war" with NATO before pivoting to say Trump "wants to go to war with a NATO member."

Then Behar showed off her legendary ignorance of history by claiming NATO was the military alliance that fought alongside America during "World War II and the Vietnam War."

NATO was formed in 1949 — four years after World War II ended.

The Allied Powers fought Hitler and the Nazis in World War II, not NATO.

And NATO had nothing to do with the Vietnam War either.

This isn't the first time Behar displayed shocking ignorance about NATO and World War II.

Nobody at ABC bothered to correct her in nearly two years.

Behar's delusion that Trump wanted war with NATO carried over to claims he wanted to "launch a war" against Minnesota.

"He wants to go to war with them and war with a United States state, Minnesota. What is wrong with him?!" she screeched.

Behar was referencing Trump deploying the National Guard to Minneapolis following violent protests over ICE operations.

But in Behar's fevered imagination, that somehow meant Trump wanted to bomb Minnesota.

Behar calls for Congress to invoke 25th Amendment against Trump

She called on viewers to demand Congress invoke the 25th Amendment against Trump.

"The only power that the American people have before Election Day is to get on the phones and leave messages and say, 'listen, either invoke the 25th Amendment because he's not making sense,'" Behar said.

There's just one problem with Behar's grand plan.

Congress has absolutely nothing to do with the 25th Amendment.

Only the President or cabinet members can invoke it.

Behar doesn't even understand basic civics about how the Constitutional amendment works that she's demanding be used.

This is the same woman who earlier admitted she needs therapy to deal with her "Trump Derangement Syndrome."

"I'm dealing with the next few years of Trump. I need therapy," Behar joked on The View.

Except it doesn't sound like she was joking anymore.

Look, Behar spent decades on television and built a career out of liberal hot takes.

But comparing ICE agents enforcing immigration law to Nazis rounding up Jews for extermination crosses every line.

Holocaust survivors have repeatedly called out this disgusting comparison — including the one Behar tried to use as a prop in 2020.

When Behar asked Holocaust survivor Millie Baran to compare her experience to migrants at the border, Baran praised America as "the best land in the world" where she "practically kissed the earth" when she arrived.

That didn't fit Behar's narrative, so she dropped it fast.

And now Behar thinks NATO fought in World War II and Vietnam while Trump wants to bomb Minnesota.

The Trump Derangement Syndrome is terminal with this one.
