George Soros built the largest dark money network in American politics.
But he didn't do it alone.
And Soros's political machine was turbocharged with taxpayer money from this bad scam.
Teachers Union Caught Red-Handed Bankrolling Soros Dark Money Operation
New federal filings just exposed what the National Education Association has been doing with teacher dues behind closed doors.
The NEA — which represents over 3 million teachers — sent $300,000 to the Sixteen Thirty Fund, one of the largest Democrat dark money operations in the country.
Union officials funneled tens of thousands more to the Tides Foundation network, a Soros-backed web of groups financing everything from anti-Israel protests to radical ballot measures.
The largest single payment was a staggering $3.5 million to Education International, a global teachers federation where NEA President Becky Pringle conveniently serves as vice president.
Pringle also dumped $350,000 into the Schott Foundation, which describes itself as a group "fueling racial and education justice movements."
Meanwhile, $500,000 went to kill standardized testing in Massachusetts and another $500,000 backed anti-gerrymandering schemes in Ohio.
None of this money bought textbooks, fixed crumbling school buildings, or help teachers.
The North American Values Institute uncovered these expenditures in the NEA's November 2024 federal disclosure filing.
Mika Hackner, NAVI's Director of Research, called it exactly what it is.
"This is the upshot of social justice unionism," Hackner told Fox News Digital.
"Instead of focusing on member's working conditions, unions spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on pet political projects completely divorced from the needs and wants of most teachers but perfectly in line with the political agenda the union has been co-opted to serve."
How The Soros Machine Really Works
The Sixteen Thirty Fund isn't some neutral civic organization.
In 2020 alone, the fund spent $410 million trying to defeat Donald Trump and flip the Senate to Democrat control.
The organization operates under dozens of fake-sounding names like "Arizonans United for Health Care" and "Floridians for a Fair Shake" to hide who's really pulling the strings.
George Soros's Democracy Alliance has recommended the Sixteen Thirty Fund to donors as a top funding priority.
The fund is managed by Arabella Advisors, a shadowy consulting firm that runs a network of liberal nonprofits that raised $1.6 billion in 2020.
Teacher dues are feeding this beast while they post wishlists begging parents to buy pencils and paper.
The Tides Foundation — another recipient of NEA cash — has direct ties to organizing anti-Israel protests and financing radical left-wing causes across America.
Teachers didn't sign up to bankroll George Soros's political machine with taxpayer dollars.
Union bosses are using their mandatory dues — which are funded through taxpayer-supported salaries — as a Democrat Party slush fund.
During COVID, the American Federation of Teachers successfully lobbied the CDC to keep schools closed longer than necessary.
AFT President Randi Weingarten literally helped write CDC guidance that kept millions of kids locked out of classrooms for months.
Emails showed Weingarten had direct access to CDC Director Rochelle Walensky while private schools and parents were ignored.
The unions donated $43 million to Democrats during the 2020 election cycle, then got their payoff — teachers unions were allowed to draft federal health policy.
A House investigation found that AFT's political interference "prolonged school closures" and caused "avoidable and substantial harm to students."
Reading and math scores collapsed.
Randi Weingarten pulled in a $426,000 salary in 2020-2021 while pushing to keep schools shuttered.
Erika Sanzi of Defending Education said the NEA's federal charter — granted because they promised to "advance the interests of the profession of teaching" — is "no longer defensible."
She called the organization a "far-left insane asylum."
Between 2022 and 2024, the NEA and AFT together pumped over $43.5 million into Democrat PACs and left-wing advocacy groups.
$9.3 million to For Our Future Action Fund, a super PAC operating in battleground states.
$1.6 million to House Majority PAC backing Democrat congressional candidates.
They even donated to the Trevor Project, MoveOn.org, PEN America, and the Clinton Foundation.
Taxpayer money being laundered through teachers' forced dues to elect Democrats and push radical social agendas.
American kids can't read or do math at grade level.
Teachers unions are financing George Soros's dark money empire and international federations where union bosses collect six-figure salaries.
Trump promised to eliminate the Department of Education and return power to states and parents.
Teachers unions are the single biggest obstacle to that reform.
They've spent decades building a corrupt system where taxpayer-funded forced dues flow to Democrat politicians who protect union power rather than improve education.
Every teacher paying union dues should ask where their money is really going.
The answer will make them furious.
