RINOs stabbed Trump in the back to save this awful Deep State judge

House Republicans had the perfect chance to stop judicial tyranny.

Speaker Mike Johnson talked tough about holding rogue judges accountable.

But 46 House Republicans just stabbed Trump in the back to save this awful Deep State judge.

Chip Roy's defund amendment targeted judge behind Trump deportation blocks and FISA Court scandal

Congressman Chip Roy introduced an amendment that would have defunded the two most notorious activist judges blocking Trump's agenda.

The amendment targeted Obama-appointed Judge James Boasberg and Maryland Judge Deborah Boardman.

Roy proposed cutting the budgets of the D.C. District Court and Court of Appeals by 20 percent while zeroing out funding for Boasberg's and Boardman's staff salaries and offices.

Boasberg has been the Deep State's go-to judge for nearly a decade.

As presiding judge on the secret Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court from 2020 to 2021, he oversaw the fallout from the FBI's illegal spying on Carter Page during the Russia collusion hoax.

Two of the four FISA warrants were later declared invalid after the FBI made 17 significant errors and omissions.

Boasberg admitted the government "breached its duty of candor to the Court" with bogus warrant applications based on the discredited Steele dossier.

Yet when FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith pleaded guilty to falsifying documents used to spy on Page, Boasberg gave him probation.

Manufacturing evidence to frame a Trump campaign advisor earned probation. That's it.

Judge Boasberg authorized Arctic Frost investigation spying on Republican senators including Ted Cruz

Boasberg authorized Jack Smith to secretly subpoena phone records of at least 10 Republican senators including Ted Cruz and Lindsey Graham.

He signed gag orders preventing senators from knowing about the surveillance for over a year.

Smith launched Arctic Frost three days after Trump announced his 2024 campaign — targeting nine members of Congress and 400 conservative organizations.

Cruz called it "legal slander" and a violation of the Speech and Debate Clause.

Senator Eric Schmitt said it was worse than Watergate and demanded impeachment.

"Boasberg is the poster child for what a rogue judge is now in 2025," Schmitt said.

Congressional Republicans filed articles of impeachment over the scandal.

But 46 House Republicans voted to keep funding his court anyway.

Activist judge ignored Supreme Court ruling to keep blocking Trump immigration enforcement

In March, Boasberg blocked Trump from using the Alien Enemies Act to deport Venezuelan gang members to El Salvador.

He issued a restraining order and verbally ordered planes already in the air to turn around.

The administration continued the flights, deporting over 260 people to El Salvador's CECOT maximum security prison.

Boasberg launched contempt proceedings against Trump officials for defying his order.

The Supreme Court threw out his restraining orders in April, ruling he lacked jurisdiction.

Boasberg kept pushing the contempt case anyway.

A federal appeals court shut him down in August, ruling Boasberg "abused his authority."

The two Trump-appointed judges rebuked him for trying to control "core executive functions like the conduct of foreign policy."

In December, Boasberg ordered Trump to bring the deported Venezuelans back from El Salvador.

Even after the Supreme Court made clear he was wrong, Boasberg kept attacking Trump's immigration enforcement.

Judge gave Kavanaugh would-be assassin just eight years despite prosecutors seeking life

Prosecutors recommended 30 years to life for the man who tried to murder Justice Brett Kavanaugh in 2022.

Boardman gave him eight years.

She showed sympathy for the attacker's "transgender" status and worried about his prison placement.

Roy called both judges "particularly egregious in their contempt of the president."

Senator Ted Cruz demanded Speaker Johnson begin impeachment.

"I am right now calling on the House of Representatives to impeach Judge Boasberg," Cruz said.

House Republicans cross aisle on appropriations bill to save Deep State operative

The final vote on Roy's amendment was 163-257.

Every single Democrat voted to protect their judicial allies.

But 46 RINOs crossed the aisle to kill the amendment and save Boasberg.

They had one job.

Defund the judge who's been working to destroy Trump for nearly a decade.

They chose the Deep State instead.

Johnson has refused to move forward with impeachment despite mounting pressure from conservatives.

The speaker promised hearings to "highlight the abuses."

Translation: Nothing's going to happen.

When Roy gave Republicans a real way to fight back through the appropriations process, 46 of them folded.

House Republicans passed the No Rogue Rulings Act in April to restrict nationwide injunctions.

It's been sitting in the Senate ever since.

Democrats have the votes to filibuster it into oblivion.

Roy figured out the only path that actually works — cut off their money.

No funding means Boasberg can't pay staff to research ways to block Trump's agenda and his court can't issue endless injunctions against deportations.

Congress controls the purse strings.

That's the one power judges can't override.

Trump won a landslide mandate to drain the swamp.

And 46 Republicans just sided with the Deep State operative who's been trying to destroy Trump since 2016.

Republicans finally had the chance to stop him.

They chose to write him another check instead.

That's not supporting Trump.

That's protecting the swamp.
