Charlie Kirk's assassination devastated millions of conservatives.

The Left had a disgusting reaction.

And a teachers union filed one sick lawsuit over Charlie Kirk's assassination.

Texas Teachers Mocked Kirk's Murder On Social Media

Within hours of Kirk being shot dead at Utah Valley University, teachers across Texas posted disgusting comments celebrating his assassination.

One Houston-area teacher posted on Facebook that "karma" played a role in Kirk's death.

Another teacher posted "1 Nazi down" after hearing Kirk was murdered.

A North Texas teacher wrote "Looks like he took one for the team. Hope he is roasting!"

These weren't just private thoughts – they were public posts cheering the assassination of a conservative champion who left behind a young widow and two children.

Texas Education Commissioner Mike Morath sent a letter to superintendents calling out teachers who posted "reprehensible and inappropriate content on social media."

The Texas Education Agency received more than 350 complaints about educators celebrating Kirk's murder.

Governor Greg Abbott declared "Teachers who are this detached from civility in our society have no place in our schools."

Several school districts fired teachers who mocked Kirk's death.

Teachers Union Now Defending Those Who Celebrated Murder

The Texas American Federation of Teachers filed a federal lawsuit on trying to protect teachers who celebrated Kirk's assassination.

Union President Zeph Capo had the gall to call Texas's response "a witch hunt."

The lawsuit claims Texas violated teachers' "free speech rights" by investigating educators who mocked a murdered conservative icon.

The lawsuit complains that Texas didn't launch similar investigations when Democratic Minnesota lawmakers Melissa Hortman and John Hoffman were assassinated in July 2025.

That's a flat-out lie exposing the union's political bias.

Nobody celebrated those murders on social media the way leftist teachers celebrated Kirk's death.

The union is demanding a federal court block all investigations into teachers who mocked Kirk's assassination.

Texas Just Partnered With Kirk's Organization To Honor His Legacy

Less than a month before this lawsuit, Governor Abbott and Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick announced a partnership with Turning Point USA.

Texas is bringing Turning Point chapters to every high school in the state to honor Kirk's legacy.

Abbott made clear schools better not stand in the way.

"Any school that stands in the way of a Club America program in their school should be reported immediately to the Texas Education Agency," Abbott declared.

Patrick committed $1 million in campaign funds to expand Turning Point across Texas.

Commissioner Morath stood with Abbott and Patrick at the December 8 announcement after meeting privately with Turning Point's leadership in November.

Now the same union defending teachers who celebrated Kirk's murder is fighting against honoring his legacy in Texas schools.

Vice President JD Vance said at Kirk's White House memorial "If it weren't for Charlie Kirk, I would not be the Vice President of the United States."

Kirk's organization registered millions of young voters who helped elect President Trump.

Teachers who mocked his assassination showed they have no business shaping young minds.

The lawsuit claims teachers made these posts on their "personal time" and "private accounts."

That's supposed to make celebrating an assassination acceptable?

These are people trusted to educate children about right and wrong.

They publicly celebrated murder and now claim victimhood when held accountable.

Texas officials did exactly what they should have done – investigated complaints and let districts fire the worst offenders who showed complete moral bankruptcy.

The teachers union filing this lawsuit proves they're more interested in protecting radical leftists than upholding basic decency.

Kirk's widow and children are still grieving while leftist teachers celebrated his murder and their union now sues to protect them from consequences.

That tells you everything you need to know about what's wrong with teachers unions today.
