One scary trend about illegal voting being exposed has Democrats panicking

Democrats spent years insisting noncitizen voting was a conspiracy theory.

They fought tooth and nail to stop voter rolls from being inspected.

And one scary trend about illegal voting being exposed has Democrats panicking.

One Kansas Mayor Voted Illegally for Decades

Jose Ceballos served as mayor of Coldwater, Kansas and cast ballots in dozens of elections dating back to 2006.

There's just one problem: he's not a United States citizen.

Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach charged Ceballos with three counts of voting without being qualified and three counts of election perjury.¹

"In Kansas, it is against the law to vote if you are not a U.S. citizen. We allege that Mr. Ceballos did it multiple times," Kobach said.²

Ceballos received a green card in 1990 and believed permanent residency gave him the right to vote.

He registered in 1991 and voted in GOP primaries for decades, even casting ballots for himself when he ran for office.

He told The Wichita Eagle he'd "probably voted for Trump three times" and "always voted for all the Republicans."

Now he faces more than five years in prison and deportation despite living in America for 35 years.

But Ceballos isn't an isolated case.

Ian Roberts, superintendent of Des Moines schools, got arrested by ICE as an illegal alien who'd been registered to vote in Maryland for years.

Carlos Jose Abreu is serving 65 months for illegal voting, identity theft and firearms violations.

Denis Bouchard, a Canadian, voted in North Carolina for more than 20 years without citizenship.

Svitlana and Yelyzaveta Demydenko, Ukrainian immigrants, are accused of voting in Florida in 2024 despite not being citizens.

Federal prosecutors charged at least 10 other immigrants this year alone for casting illegal ballots.

Christian Adams, president of the Public Interest Legal Foundation, called these cases "the tip of the iceberg."

"There probably are not enough Assistant US Attorneys available to prosecute all of the foreigners on American voter rolls," Adams said.³

Trump and DOGE Removed the Roadblocks Democrats Put Up

The Trump Administration streamlined access to the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements database and slashed the fees states had to pay to verify citizenship.

The Department of Government Efficiency helped bring several of these cases to light.

For years, the Biden Administration made it nearly impossible for states to check voter rolls against federal databases.

The moment Trump removed those roadblocks, illegal registrations started popping up everywhere.

Texas ran its 18 million voter registrations through the federal database and flagged about 2,800 names as potential noncitizens.

Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon revealed the Justice Department checked 47.5 million names and discovered "several thousand noncitizens" registered to vote.⁴

Kansas Secretary of State Scott Schwab said his office expects to find hundreds more cases.

"Attorney general, be prepared to be busy as we go through these and find out potential positives of people who are non-U.S. citizens that have voted," Schwab warned.⁵

Democrats Called It a Conspiracy Theory While Fighting Voter Roll Cleanup

Democrats didn't just claim noncitizen voting was rare.

They sued states that tried to verify citizenship on voter rolls.

Biden's Justice Department dragged Virginia and Alabama into federal court to stop them from removing noncitizens before the 2024 election.

A judge ordered Virginia to put 1,600 flagged registrations back on the rolls.

The Brennan Center for Justice insisted voter fraud was "very rare" while blocking every attempt to actually look for it.

Biden's White House opposed requiring proof of citizenship to register, claiming "safeguards already are in place."

What safeguards?

The honor system where people check a box saying they're citizens?

Republicans wanted to verify citizenship before someone voted.

Democrats screamed that checking voter rolls amounted to "voter suppression."

The Left dismissed concerns about noncitizen voting as right-wing paranoia.

Then Biden's DOJ sued states trying to clean up their rolls.

Democrats made it expensive and time-consuming for states to access the federal databases that track citizenship.

Now everyone can see why they fought so hard.

The moment Trump gave states the tools to actually look, thousands of illegal registrations surfaced.

Democrats knew this was happening all along.

That's why they did everything possible to prevent anyone from checking.
