But one dark secret about the FBI's Mar-a-Lago raid was exposed that upended the Swamp.
FBI agents screamed there was no case but Biden's goons didn't care
Newly declassified emails blow the lid off what really happened before the Mar-a-Lago raid.
FBI agents practically begged Biden's Department of Justice not to go through with it because they didn't have probable cause.
Merrick Garland and Jack Smith steamrolled right over them.
FBI field agents put it in writing that the evidence was "single source, has not been corroborated, and may be dated."¹
One FBI official wrote that "very little has been developed related to who might be culpable for mishandling the documents."²
They couldn't even figure out who supposedly committed a crime, but Biden's DOJ wanted to raid a former President's home anyway.
The FBI's Washington Field Office spelled it out: they did "not believe (and has articulated to DOJ CES), that we have established probable cause for the search warrant for classified records at Mar a Lago."³
Weeks dragged on with no new evidence.
"We haven't generated any new facts, but keep being given draft after draft after draft," one frustrated FBI agent wrote.⁴
That agent asked what everyone was thinking: "Absent a witness coming forward with recent information about classified on site, at what point is it fair to table this? It is time consuming for the team, and not productive if there are no new facts supporting PC (probable cause)?"⁵
The FBI proposed "alternative, less intrusive and likelier quicker options" to get the documents.⁶
Biden's attack dogs rejected everything and demanded the raid.

FBI agents wanted to handle this professionally and avoid turning it into a circus.
Deputy Assistant Attorney General George Toscas had other ideas.
In a meeting days before the raid, Toscas told FBI agents he "frankly doesn't give a damn about the optics" of storming a former President's home.⁸
An FBI agent documented Toscas's stunning comment in an August 4, 2022 email, warning his colleagues what they were walking into.⁹
That same agent pointed out that DOJ prosecutor Jay Bratt "has already built an antagonistic relationship" with Trump's attorneys.¹⁰
Everyone could see this was going to explode.
The agent laid it out: "I also think that it is fair to say that if FBI calls, having in mind officer safety, to the optics of the search, and the desire to conduct this search in a professional and low key manner, there is a far better chance that the execution will go more smoothly and we may actually gain some measure of cooperation."¹¹
That's called common sense.
Biden's DOJ didn't want cooperation – they wanted the spectacle of FBI agents raiding Trump's home on national television.
"I understand that this request may not go well at DOJ, however, it is the FBI serving and executing the search and it will be our personnel who will have to deal with the reaction to that first contact," the agent wrote.¹²
He knew exactly what Biden's political operatives were setting up.
On August 8, 2022, more than 30 armed FBI agents swarmed Mar-a-Lago with authorization for deadly force while Trump's family was present and Secret Service protected the property.
That's banana republic tactics, not American justice.

Remember how the media breathlessly reported the Mar-a-Lago raid as righteous law enforcement?
Remember how Democrats shrieked that Trump endangered national security?
Remember how RINOs like Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger rushed to defend Biden's DOJ?
They were all lying or too stupid to see they were being used.
FBI Director Kash Patel just confirmed it: "It's true – we just turned over documents to Capitol Hill to be made public showing the FBI told DOJ they did not have probable cause for raiding President Trump's home in Mar A Lago but DOJ 'didn't give a damn' and did it anyway."¹³
Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley released the declassified emails that prove Biden weaponized federal law enforcement against his chief political opponent.
Jack Smith charged Trump with 37 felony counts knowing the FBI's own agents said there was no probable cause for the search that produced the evidence.
Trump pleaded not guilty because he WAS not guilty.
Federal Judge Aileen Cannon dismissed the entire case in July 2024, ruling Smith's appointment as special counsel violated the Constitution.
Smith dropped all remaining charges after Trump demolished Kamala Harris in November 2024.
CNN, MSNBC, The New York Times, and The Washington Post owe Trump and the American people a front-page apology for two years of dishonest coverage.
Don't hold your breath.
Merrick Garland personally approved raiding Trump's home knowing his own FBI agents said they lacked probable cause.
Biden's Attorney General ignored FBI warnings, bulldozed legal procedures, and greenlit a raid that backfired so spectacularly it helped elect Trump President again.
George Toscas – the smug DOJ bureaucrat who said he didn't "give a damn about the optics" – got fired within hours of Trump's January 2025 inauguration.
Trump's cleaning house at the Justice Department and removing every official who participated in Biden's banana republic persecution campaign.
Those FBI agents who tried pumping the brakes were the only honest people in this entire disgrace.
Instead of destroying Trump's 2024 campaign, the raid became the moment that secured his return to the White House.
Americans watched Biden's goons storm a former President's home without probable cause and concluded the entire system was rigged against Trump.
They were right.
