A Montana Democrat left one vile message for a GOP Senator that got the police involved

The Left has ramped up violent rhetoric against Republicans to unprecedented levels.

One incident exposed exactly how unhinged the Democrat base has become.

And a Montana Democrat left one vile message for a GOP Senator that got the police involved.

Death threats and pancreatic cancer wishes expose the radical Left's playbook

Haley McKnight isn't some anonymous internet troll hiding behind a fake account.

She's the president of Helena Young Professionals and a candidate for Helena City Commission running on a platform of sustainability and public transit funding who decided to leave a profanity-laced voicemail for U.S. Senator Tim Sheehy (R-MT) wishing him a slow death from pancreatic cancer.¹

"I hope that one day you get pancreatic cancer and it spreads throughout your body so fast that they can't even treat you for it," McKnight told Sheehy's Helena district office on July 1. "I hope that you die in the street like a dog."²

The voicemail came the day after Sheehy voted with Senate Republicans to advance President Donald Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill Act to his desk.

McKnight wasn't done. She went on to wish that Sheehy's four children would never forgive him and that he'd become infertile.

"God forbid that you ever meet me on the streets, because I will make you regret it," the candidate threatened. "F*ck you. I hope you die."³

When contacted by National Review on Monday, McKnight didn't apologize.

She doubled down. "To see him throw away what Montanans need and want for his own betterment is enough to make me, yeah, want to fight him on site," she told the publication. "And I'll gladly say that, because I think in the time of rising fascism, we shouldn't be afraid to say these things."⁴

McKnight's tirade represents the latest in a disturbing pattern of escalating left-wing violence that exploded after President Trump's 2024 landslide victory.

The Center for Strategic and International Studies released data in September showing that left-wing terrorist attacks and plots reached record levels in the first half of 2025 — the highest in three decades.⁵

The Charlie Kirk assassination on September 10 stands as the most horrific example.

A 22-year-old suspect allegedly shot Kirk, the 31-year-old founder of Turning Point USA, while he spoke at Utah Valley University. Bullet casings found near the scene were inscribed with anti-fascist messages.⁶

Democrats can't condemn what they encourage

McKnight's voicemail came to light just hours before Helena's city commission election.

Sheehy's office only recently became aware of the July 1 message and contacted law enforcement.

Spokesman Jack O'Brien kept the response simple: "We hope Ms. McKnight gets the help she clearly needs and wish her well."⁷

The timing exposes the coordinated nature of left-wing intimidation tactics. McKnight claimed she received death threats after the National Review report broke, positioning herself as the victim rather than the perpetrator of political violence.

She accused Sheehy of "doxxing and bullying" her by publicizing her own words — words she spoke while identifying herself by name as a constituent.⁸

Here's what McKnight and Democrats like her can't grasp: Sheehy didn't make her leave that voicemail. He didn't force her to wish terminal cancer on a married father of four.

She did that all on her own because the radical Left has created an environment where threatening violence against conservatives is not just acceptable — it's celebrated.

The numbers back this up. U.S. Capitol Police investigated over 14,000 possible threats against lawmakers and their offices in 2025, up from 9,474 in 2024.

The U.S. Marshals Service investigated 562 threats against federal judges in the 2025 fiscal year. Princeton University's Bridging Divides Initiative recorded nearly 300 instances of threats and harassment against mayors, city councilors, and other local officials in just the first half of 2025.⁹

"Rising fascism" is the excuse for every left-wing threat

McKnight's defense of her death threats reveals the Left's core problem. She genuinely believes wishing cancer and street violence on a U.S. Senator counts as justified resistance to "rising fascism."

This is the language of revolutionaries, not public servants.

McKnight isn't some lone wolf. She's a small business owner who runs a consulting company, manages a retail store, and was chosen to lead Helena Young Professionals — the kind of resume that suggests community standing and leadership.¹⁰

Yet she called Sheehy "the most insufferable kind of coward and thief" for voting to advance legislation she opposed. She wished his children would abandon him. She threatened physical violence if they met on the street.

The radical Left created this monster. For years, Democrats and their media allies told their base that Trump supporters were fascists, that conservatives were a threat to democracy, that Republican policies literally killed people.

McKnight absorbed those talking points and acted on them.

Sheehy isn't backing down. The former Navy SEAL and Bronze Star recipient defeated three-term Democrat incumbent Jon Tester in 2024 by running on border security, economic growth, and ending wasteful spending.

He founded Bridger Aerospace, creating over 200 Montana jobs, many of them filled by veterans and Montana State graduates.¹¹

McKnight's voicemail proves conservatives were right all along about the Left's violent tendencies.

Democrats spent years claiming January 6 represented an existential threat while ignoring mounting evidence of left-wing terrorism. The data destroys their narrative. Left-wing terrorist incidents averaged 4.0 annually from 2016 to 2024, compared to 0.6 from 1994 to 2000.¹²

Montana voters will decide on Election Day whether McKnight's brand of politics belongs anywhere near government.

Her own words revealed what the radical Left really thinks about conservatives: they deserve to die painfully, their families should abandon them, and physical violence against them is justified in the name of fighting "fascism."

That's not democracy. That's the rhetoric of tyrants.
