The media establishment has been waging war against Donald Trump for years.
But they’re getting more desperate as Trump’s popularity continues to soar.
And Steve Bannon sounded the alarm on this scheme by Fox News to destroy Trump.
Bannon unleashes brutal attack on Murdoch family
Former Trump White House advisor Steve Bannon didn’t hold back during his War Room podcast on Friday when he launched a blistering attack on media mogul Rupert Murdoch and his empire.
The MAGA podcaster accused the Murdoch family of orchestrating a coordinated assault on President Trump through their media properties, including Fox News and The Wall Street Journal.
"Last night, we saw it in all its ugliness. The Murdochs hate Trump. The Murdochs want to take down Trump," Bannon declared.¹
Bannon’s comments came in response to The Wall Street Journal’s recent report about a letter President Trump allegedly wrote to Jeffrey Epstein.
But Bannon wasn’t buying the story for a second.
He revealed that senior sources working with President Trump told him the Journal never even showed them the letter they claimed to have.
"They don’t even know if they have the letter. They may be doing the letter from something that people told them about," Bannon said.¹
The former White House strategist said Trump had discussions with senior people at The Wall Street Journal, but the paper went ahead with their hit piece anyway.
That’s when Bannon revealed the Murdoch media strategy.
Bannon reveals Murdoch’s three-pronged attack on MAGA
Bannon laid out exactly how the Murdoch empire deploys its different media properties to target President Trump and the MAGA movement.
"The Wall Street Journal is always the instrument they’re going to take out MAGA and to take out Trump, right? The sharpest tool that they’ve got. They used the New York Post as more of a populist entity. And of course, Fox News is for RINOs," Bannon explained.¹
He called The Wall Street Journal "the neoliberal neocon sharp end of the stick that they come after Trump."¹
According to Bannon, the Murdochs thought they had a "kill shot" on President Trump with their Epstein letter story.
But their plan backfired spectacularly.
Instead of destroying Trump, the story only made him stronger and more determined to fight back against the deep state.
"Lo and behold, it’s the exact opposite, because President Trump is now on offense," Bannon said.¹
The podcaster praised Trump for taking an aggressive approach against Murdoch instead of playing defense.
"President Trump is best when it’s attack, attack, attack. This is the deep state, this is the ruling class in America. They’re trying to use it to destroy President Trump," Bannon declared.¹
Bannon predicts legal warfare against Murdoch
The former Trump aide suggested that serious legal action could be coming against the Murdoch empire.
Bannon said he understands that Trump’s team is putting together a lawsuit that’s "gonna be absolutely incredible."¹
He predicted that Trump "can’t wait to get Rupert Murdoch on the stand."¹
Bannon reminded his audience that Murdoch previously tried to avoid testifying in the Dominion lawsuit because of damaging emails where the media mogul allegedly said he wanted to make Trump "a non-person."¹
"But he ain’t going to get out of this one," Bannon warned.¹
The former White House strategist showed a compilation of his previous statements criticizing Murdoch, demonstrating this isn’t a new battle.
Bannon has been calling out the Murdoch empire for years while other conservatives were still trying to curry favor with Fox News and The Wall Street Journal.¹
The real story behind the media war
Bannon’s explosive revelations expose what many conservatives have suspected for years.
The Murdoch empire talks a good game about supporting Republicans, but when it comes to Trump and the America First movement, they’re part of the establishment resistance.
Fox News has been criticized by Trump supporters for years for being controlled opposition that supports RINO Republicans over true conservatives.
The Wall Street Journal has consistently opposed Trump’s trade policies and populist economic agenda.
Even the New York Post, which Bannon says is used "as more of a populist entity," has been inconsistent in its Trump coverage.
The former White House advisor made it clear that Trump’s populist nationalist movement is what the Murdochs really hate.
"He has a populist nationalist movement and they hate, and this is old man Murdoch who made the decision to come after President Trump," Bannon explained.¹
This isn’t about journalism or holding politicians accountable.
The establishment can’t stand that the MAGA movement threatens everything they’ve built.
Bannon’s call for Trump to go on offense against the Murdoch empire shows that the gloves are finally coming off.
The days of Trump and his allies trying to play nice with establishment media are over.
President Trump needs to show Americans exactly who’s been working against him from the start.
