The public education system in America is broken beyond repair.
Teachers unions have turned government schools into left-wing indoctrination centers.
And America’s biggest teachers union noticed one alarming thing about Donald Trump that will make parents furious.
NEA passes anti-Trump resolutions while students fail basic skills
The National Education Association (NEA) is the largest teachers union in America with over 3 million members across the country.
You’d think an organization that represents teachers would focus on helping students learn to read, write, and do math at grade level.
Instead, the NEA spent their annual convention passing resolutions attacking President Donald Trump.
School choice activist Corey DeAngelis exposed the shocking resolutions that the NEA tried to keep hidden from the public.
These weren’t just political statements – they were marching orders for teachers to turn their classrooms into anti-Trump battlegrounds.
New Business Item 60 shows just how unhinged the NEA has become.
The resolution pledges to "defend democracy against Trump’s embrace of fascism by using the term facism [sic] in NEA materials to correctly characterize Donald Trump’s program and actions."¹
The teachers union actually misspelled "fascism" in their own resolution about calling Trump a fascist.
These are the people who are supposed to be teaching America’s children proper spelling and grammar.
The NEA claims that labeling Trump as a fascist will somehow increase the chance of "the survival of civilization."¹
They’re spending $3,500 of union dues to implement this anti-Trump propaganda campaign.¹
Teachers union mobilizes students as political activists
The NEA didn’t stop at just attacking Trump – they’re now recruiting students to become political activists.
New Business Item 63 shows the union "opposed Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) kidnapping of student leaders and supports students’ right to organize against ICE raids and deportations."¹
The NEA is literally encouraging students to organize against federal law enforcement agencies.
They’re spending $32,500 to mobilize children into their activist regime.¹
The resolution also includes their commitment to defend against supposed attacks on "LGBTQ+ students and against racism" by the Trump administration.¹
There’s no evidence that any of these attacks are actually happening.
But the NEA doesn’t care about facts when they have a political agenda to push.
New Business Item 84 is the most dangerous resolution of all because it directly attacks parental rights.
The NEA is opposing the Supreme Court ruling in Mahmoud v. Taylor, which allows parents to opt their kids out of gender ideology instruction.¹
The teachers union is spending a whopping $209,025 to "assist educators in avoiding possible disciplinary action when teaching about LGBTQ+ history, materials, resources, books, etc., while at school/work."¹
They’re planning town hall meetings and member conferences to make sure teachers keep pushing sex and gender ideology on students.¹
Even when local laws or parents explicitly say no.
NEA turns classrooms into left-wing battlegrounds
The NEA is instructing teachers to ignore the law and defy parents’ wishes about what their children learn.
New Business Item 58 throws $1,500 towards supporting "the mass democratic movement against Trump’s authoritarianism and violations of human rights."¹
The union is supporting the "No Kings" movement and the Los Angeles-based movement to defeat Trump’s attempts to use federal forces against California and other states.¹
They can’t very well say they’re supporting violent riots in their resolution, so they use euphemisms instead.
The NEA is a 501(c)(5) federal tax-exempt labor organization that can engage in lobbying to influence education policies.
But some of their new resolutions come dangerously close to instructing teachers to disregard laws.
This could risk their tax status or invite legal scrutiny from federal authorities.
The union isn’t just using its massive organization of teachers to fight back against Trump.
They’re instructing those teachers to take their captive students and turn them into political activists.
This is textbook indoctrination disguised as "education."
They want left-wing soldiers and they’re looking at American children as the perfect group to recruit from.
Students suffer while teachers union plays politics
American students are consistently testing below grade level in science, math, and reading.
Our education system is failing them catastrophically.
Organizations like the NEA are holding the matches and gasoline while blaming Trump for the blaze.
The only answer here is for the U.S. Department of Justice to investigate the NEA for possible violations and hand down disciplinary action.
Parents send their children to school to learn academic subjects, not to be indoctrinated into left-wing political activism.
The NEA has made it clear they care more about attacking Trump than educating students.
It’s time for parents to demand accountability from the teachers union that’s supposed to be working for their children’s education.
Not against it.
