Media admits they got played by Biden’s team
Fox News host Jesse Watters delivered a scathing takedown of the mainstream media’s four-year cover-up of Joe Biden’s obvious mental decline.
On his show Jesse Watters Primetime, Watters highlighted how journalists who spent years attacking anyone who questioned Biden’s fitness are now admitting they were “duped.”
The stunning admission came as reporters who wrote books about the Biden administration revealed shocking details about how the former President’s team successfully fooled the press.
The Washington Post, a paper that has hundreds of reporters in the Capitol, who has reporters following Biden around on his plane, are now saying, ‘If Biden was too frail for his job, voters should have been informed,'” Watters said. “Yes, by you. The paper that broke Watergate couldn’t tell us Biden was a vegetable.”
Co-author Alex Thompson of the book “Original Sin” revealed that Biden’s own campaign was amazed at how easily they could manipulate the media.
“It was interesting. I had one conversation with someone, this was after the election, while we were reporting this book, and this person said, listen, yes, we deserve blame for X, Y, Z. We were hiding him. We were — but this person also sort of got my face and they said, listen, the media deserve some blame, too. Like we were sort of amazed at some of the stuff we were able to spin. You guys should not have believed us so easily,” Thompson said.
Biden’s team staged fake events to hide his condition
The most shocking revelation was that Biden’s campaign spent millions staging fake town halls because the real ones were too embarrassing to use.
Thompson revealed that Biden’s team filmed an entire town hall in Delaware with supporters in spring 2024.
“This fake town hall was in order to film it so they can make into campaign commercials. They filled it in — they filmed it in Delaware with supporters. But Joe Biden at this point, this is the spring of 2024, Joe Biden’s town hall, which was closed to press, was so bad that campaign officials determined that it was not usable for a campaign commercial,” Thompson said. “So they took 90 minutes, two hours out of the President’s Day. They filmed an entire town hall, and they determined that it was not useful.”
“Now, some people say this was because Joe Biden was incoherent. He could not really articulate his thoughts in a pithy or even semi normal way,” Thompson added.
The Biden White House successfully hid the President’s condition from the American people with the help of a complicit media.
Democrats who witnessed Biden’s decline firsthand stayed silent about what they saw.
According to Watters, during a trip to Ireland, one Democrat said Joe reminded him of his father right before he died. Another Democrat said they were stunned to see Biden completely out of it at a White House Christmas party.
Hunter Biden was secretly running the country
Perhaps the most disturbing revelation was that Hunter Biden was effectively acting as his father’s chief of staff.
CNN’s Jake Tapper admitted that “Hunter was driving the decision making for the family in a way that people — he was almost like a chief-of-staff.”
Tapper described Hunter as someone who “is provably demonstrably unethical, sleazy and prone to horrible decisions.”
But when conservatives made similar claims during Biden’s presidency, Tapper called them “wildly unhinged.”
“The right wing is going crazy with all sorts of allegations about Biden and his family, too disgusting to even repeat here. I mean, some of the ones I’ve seen from the President’s son and the President — some of the President’s supporters are just wildly unhinged,” Tapper said at the time.
Watters didn’t hold back in his response to Tapper’s hypocrisy.
“Tapper just said a sleazy criminal hooked on crack was running the country. But when we said that, Tapper said, no, that’s just a cruel conspiracy,” Watters pointed out.
Media figures cash in on their lies
What makes the situation even more infuriating is that the same journalists who covered up Biden’s condition are now profiting from books about the “shocking” truth they helped hide.
“All of the people pretending they got duped got book deals. Well, what about the people who didn’t get duped like me? What do I get?” Watters asked.
MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough admitted he was “obviously wrong” about Biden’s condition but said he wasn’t “sure what my takeaway is here.”
These are the same people who attacked anyone who questioned Biden’s mental fitness as spreading conspiracy theories.
Representative Ami Bera (D-CA) even suggested that Biden’s foreign policy accomplishments weren’t really his own work.
“I looked at the policy that we were able to pass, what we were able to do in the foreign policy space, re-establishing alliances. We were doing a lot. Now, was that Joe Biden, or was that the people around Joe Biden?” Bera said.
The mainstream media spent four years attacking conservatives who pointed out the obvious truth about Biden’s condition.
Now they want credit for “exposing” what everyone with eyes could see.
But Americans won’t forget how they were lied to by the very people who claim to be guardians of democracy.
The media’s credibility is in tatters, and no amount of after-the-fact books can change that reality.
