The Justice Department is ramping up its weaponization before Election Day.
Anyone who could stand in the path of a Democrat victory is on the list.
And Kamala Harris sicced the Justice Department on a sheriff for giving one scary message to voters.
Ohio county sheriff makes a joke about supporters of Kamala Harris
Portage County, Ohio Sheriff Bruce Zuchowski – a Republican running for re-election – found himself in the middle of a political firestorm after a post he made on Facebook in September.
He posted a screenshot of a Fox News segment that slammed President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris for their role in fueling illegal immigration.
The segment mentioned Springfield, Ohio which had 20,000 Haitian migrants shipped to the city by the Biden-Harris administration.
“When people ask me what’s gonna happen when the Flip-Flopping Laughing Hyena Wins?? I say write down all the addresses of the people who had her signs in their yards!” Zuchowski wrote. “Sooo when the Illegal human ‘Locust’ (which she supports!) Need places to live. We’ll already have the addresses of their New families who supported their arrival!”
Outrage poured in from Democrats and groups like the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) over Zuchowki’s remarks.
The ACLU claimed without evidence the post was a violation of the First Amendment.
The sheriff eventually deleted the post but that didn’t end the controversy.
The Portage County Board of Elections voted to ban sheriff’s deputies from providing security at early voting locations.
Election official Amanda Suffecool called it an “overreaction.”
“I believe this is an overreaction and should have stopped at the Friday board meeting vote,” Suffecool said in a statement. “I am saddened that it did not. There is no need to do this, and it is a Republican versus Democrat theater of a perceived threat.”
Zuchowski defended his comments and said he was a lawman, not a politician.
“Recently, I placed a post on my personal Facebook page that may have been a little misinterpreted??” Zuchowski wrote. “I…as the elected sheriff, do have a first amendment right as do all citizens. If the citizens of Portage County want to elect an individual who has supported open borders (which I’ve personally visited Twice!) and neglected to enforce the laws of our Country…then that is their prerogative.”

Former President Donald Trump carried Portage County in both the 2016 and 2020 Elections.
The Biden-Harris Justice Department announced that it was going to monitor elections for compliance with federal laws in the county because of alleged voter intimidation.
“Voters in Portage County have raised concerns about intimidation resulting from the surveillance and the collection of personal information regarding voters, as well as threats concerning the electoral process. Attempted or actual intimidation, threats or coercion directed toward any person for voting and related activities or urging or aiding others in voting is prohibited by Section 11(b) of the Voting Rights Act of 1965,” the Justice Department said in a statement.
Trump is expected to easily win Ohio again but the state is home to one of the most hotly contested Senate races in the country between U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) and his Republican challenger Bernie Moreno.
Making an off-color joke on Facebook can land someone in the crosshairs of the Biden-Harris administration.
