Whoopi Goldberg was fuming after her The View co-host gave her this reality check

The liberal ladies of The View are known for their radical anti-Trump rants.

But one co-host just broke from the pack in a surprising way.

And Whoopi Goldberg was fuming after her The View co-host gave her this reality check.

Alyssa Farah Griffin defends ICE agents against her own co-hosts

The riots in Los Angeles have exposed the Left’s true colors when it comes to law and order.

Liberal politicians and media personalities have been quick to demonize Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and military personnel who are simply doing their jobs.

But during an episode of ABC’s The View, co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin shocked her liberal colleagues by defending the very people they wanted to attack.

The discussion started when co-host Sunny Hostin launched into her typical anti-Trump hysteria about the federal response to the Los Angeles riots.

"I think Trump is not doing this just for optics," Hostin ranted. "I think that this is a test case so that he can dismantle some of our institutions. I think it’s a power grab. I think he is trying to use the might of the military to suppress people’s rights."

Hostin then made the tired comparison that Democrats always reach for when they don’t like Trump’s policies.

"When you use the military against your own citizens, that is a sign of fascism. That is just the truth," Hostin whined.

But Griffin wasn’t having it.

She urged her co-hosts to be careful not to "take the bait" and reminded them of something they clearly didn’t want to hear.

Griffin reminds The View about the human cost of their rhetoric

Griffin made a point that cut right to the heart of the Left’s hypocrisy.

"The ICE agents, those are nonpartisan actors, for the most part, who signed up for jobs and served under multiple administrations," Griffin explained. "They did not necessarily sign up to be doing this, and they’re following an order of the commander-in-chief."

When Hostin and Whoopi Goldberg tried to claim they weren’t demonizing ICE agents, Griffin doubled down with an even more powerful argument.

"I think it’s important we remember statistically the National Guard, the Marines and even these ICE agents… half of them probably have your political views," Griffin said. "Half of them are probably pretty uncomfortable with these orders. They have families at home. They have bills to pay, and they’re questioning should I walk away from this."

This was a rare moment of clarity on a show that usually traffics in partisan talking points.

Griffin was essentially telling her co-hosts that their anti-ICE rhetoric was hurting real people with families and bills to pay.

Whoopi makes a disgusting comparison to Nazi Germany

But leave it to Whoopi Goldberg to take the conversation to an even darker place.

When Griffin pointed out that ICE agents were "following orders," Goldberg made a comparison that should make every American’s blood boil.

"Where have you heard that before? ‘I’m just following orders from the commander-in-chief,’" Goldberg said, clearly referencing Nazi Germany in the 1930s.

This is exactly the kind of disgusting rhetoric that has poisoned political discourse in America.

Comparing ICE agents doing their jobs to Nazi soldiers following Hitler’s orders is not just wrong – it’s morally reprehensible.

These are American law enforcement officers trying to enforce immigration laws that Congress passed and previous presidents signed.

But in Whoopi’s twisted worldview, enforcing immigration law makes you a Nazi.

The View’s hypocrisy on law and order exposed

This entire episode perfectly captures the Left’s schizophrenic approach to law and order.

When it comes to prosecuting Donald Trump or his supporters, Democrats demand the full force of the law.

But when it comes to enforcing immigration laws against people who entered the country illegally, suddenly law enforcement officers are "fascists."

Griffin deserves credit for being the one voice of reason in a sea of radical leftist hysteria.

She reminded her co-hosts that behind every uniform is a real person with a family and responsibilities.

These ICE agents didn’t wake up one morning and decide to become villains in the Left’s political narrative.

They’re doing the job they were hired to do, following the laws that Congress passed, and carrying out the orders of the duly elected President of the United States.

Democrats continue to attack law enforcement

This isn’t the first time The View has gone after law enforcement.

The show has a long history of attacking police officers, border patrol agents, and now ICE personnel.

It’s part of a broader pattern among Democrats who want to defund police departments while simultaneously claiming to support law and order.

They can’t have it both ways.

Either you support law enforcement officers doing their jobs, or you don’t.

Griffin’s defense of ICE agents shows that even on the most liberal show on television, there are still people willing to stand up for the men and women in uniform.

The riots in Los Angeles have been a disaster for the city and its residents.

Instead of blaming the federal agents trying to restore order, maybe The View should focus on the criminals who started the riots in the first place.

But that would require intellectual honesty – something that’s been in short supply on daytime television.
