The Deep State is in full-blown panic mode.
Their operatives have been hiding in the shadows for years, leaking classified information and undermining President Donald Trump.
Tulsi Gabbard just fired “Deep State” officials at the National Intelligence Council and the bombshell reason why has Washington elites shell-shocked.
Fox News Digital reported Tuesday that Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has cleaned house at the National Intelligence Council, terminating top officials who whistleblowers described as “radically opposed to Trump.”
The jaw-dropping purge comes as Gabbard intensifies her mission to root out anti-Trump bureaucrats who’ve been secretly working to sabotage the President’s America First agenda.
Anti-Trump Officials Caught Undermining the President
Mike Collins, acting chair of the National Intelligence Council, and his deputy, Maria Langan-Riekhof, were both fired effective immediately – a devastating blow to the Deep State’s stranglehold on America’s intelligence apparatus.

Whistleblowers had filed formal complaints against Collins, accusing him of blatant political bias and “deliberately undermining the incoming Trump administration,” according to senior intelligence officials who spoke with Fox News Digital.
But Collins’ anti-Trump activities went far beyond typical bureaucratic resistance.
Fox News Digital revealed that Collins was closely linked to Michael Morrell, the former CIA deputy director who orchestrated the infamous Hunter Biden laptop letter just weeks before the 2020 election.
That letter – signed by 51 former intelligence officials claiming Hunter’s laptop had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation” – was widely seen as an attempt to influence the 2020 election and distract from the Biden family’s scandals.
Langan-Riekhof, the fired deputy, wasn’t any better.
Whistleblowers exposed her as a “key advocate” for radical diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and alleged she was “radically opposed to Trump” and everything his administration stands for.
Gabbard’s brutal housecleaning didn’t stop with these firings.
In a stunning power move that has the Deep State reeling, she’s transferring the entire National Intelligence Council from CIA headquarters to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
This strategic restructuring will enable Gabbard to “directly hold accountable any improper action and politicization of intelligence,” Fox News Digital reported.
One official told Fox News Digital that “plans to eliminate non-essential offices within ODNI that we know are housing deep state leakers are underway,” finally exposing the entrenched bureaucrats who’ve been undermining America’s security.
“It takes time to weed them out and fire them,” the official admitted, suggesting many more terminations are coming.
Gabbard’s War on Leakers Sends Shock Waves Through Washington
These bombshell firings represent just the beginning of Gabbard’s scorched-earth campaign against anti-Trump elements within the intelligence community.
She’s already referred three intelligence officials to the Department of Justice for criminal prosecution over classified leaks to The Washington Post and The New York Times.
“Politicization of our intelligence and leaking classified information puts our nation’s security at risk and must end,” Gabbard declared in April. “Those who leak classified information will be found and held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.”
The Office of the Director of National Intelligence is currently investigating 12 other intelligence officials for allegedly leaking classified information that could damage national security and the President’s agenda.
Earlier this month, the ODNI fired two bureaucrats who allegedly leaked sensitive information about the violent Tren de Aragua gang to The New York Times – another clear example of the Deep State attempting to undermine border security efforts.
In April, Gabbard established the Director’s Initiative Group (DIG) to systematically expose and eliminate weaponization within the intelligence agencies.
The task force is hunting down those responsible for politicizing intelligence and unauthorized disclosures of classified information that have undermined President Trump’s agenda.
Meanwhile, Senate Democrats are desperately obstructing the confirmation of key intelligence nominees who are “essential” to implementing President Trump’s vision for national security.
The ODNI remains handicapped without Senate-confirmed nominees for principal deputy director of national intelligence, National Counterterrorism Center, National Counterintelligence and Security Center, intelligence inspector general, and general counsel, among others.
