Biden Turned Your Medicare Doctor Into A Racial Re-Education Officer
Your doctor was getting paid extra by Medicare to see you as a member of a racial group instead of as an individual human being.
The Department of Health and Human Services just terminated Biden's regulation that rewarded doctors who implemented an "anti-racism" plan.¹
Biden's scheme offered higher federal payments for physicians who created these woke indoctrination plans as part of Medicare's Merit-Based Incentive Payment System.
The regulation encouraged doctors to use race as a primary factor in care over individualized medical treatment.²
Here's what Biden wanted from your doctor: acknowledge "systemic racism as a root cause for differences in health outcomes between socially-defined racial groups."³
Not treat your high blood pressure. Not catch your cancer early. Not manage your diabetes effectively.
Instead, blame racism for everything and collect a government check for doing it.
Medical director at Do No Harm Dr. Kurt Miceli told The Center Square: "This is an essential step towards restoring the public's trust in our once-esteemed medical institutions."⁴
Do No Harm is a group of medical professionals dedicated to keeping identity politics out of medicine.
The group filed a lawsuit in 2022 against Biden's HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Administrator Chiquita Brooks-Lasure.⁵
Eight states joined the fight: Mississippi, Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri and Montana.
But here's where it gets really ugly.
Biden's HHS Secretary Got Caught Red-Handed Lying To Congress
On April 27, 2022, House Republican Policy Committee Chairman Gary Palmer asked Becerra during a hearing why HHS issued this anti-racism rule.
Becerra looked him in the eye and denied the rule even existed.
He claimed it was all "mis- and disinformation."⁶
The very next day, House Budget Committee Republican Leader Jason Smith asked Becerra about the same rule during a Ways and Means Committee hearing.
Becerra denied it again.
Smith entered the actual rule into the Congressional record right there.⁷
Becerra was either running HHS without knowing what his own department was doing, or he was deliberately lying to Congress about a radical scheme to inject racial politics into every doctor's office in America.
Your Medicare doctor was being told to create an "equity plan" with "target goals and milestones," implement "ongoing training on anti-racism," and identify "explicit and implicit biases in patient care."⁸
The rule defined race as "a political and social construct, not a physiological one."⁹
That's not just wrong – it's dangerous.
Race affects how doctors treat patients in concrete, life-saving ways.
The heart failure drug BiDil works better in patients of African ancestry because of genetic differences.
Patients of Asian ancestry require lower doses of certain blood thingers than patients of European or African ancestry.
But Biden's rule told doctors to ignore those medical realities and focus on "anti-racism" instead.
Biden gave higher ratings to doctors who created woke indoctrination plans than to those who crafted personalized mental health plans for patients, made timely cancer diagnoses, or managed medications effectively.¹⁰
Read that again.
Your doctor got more money from Medicare for attending "anti-racism" training than for catching your cancer early.
Trump Ripped Out Every Piece Of Biden's Woke Poison
The lawsuit argued that Biden's "anti-racism" rule unlawfully exceeded the agency's authority under the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015.¹¹
The 2015 law passed with broad bipartisan support to reward doctors for quality care and cost-effectiveness.
Republicans who voted for it sure as hell weren't voting to turn Medicare into a racial re-education program.
But Biden's people saw an opening and shoved their entire woke agenda through it.
Following the Trump administration's reconsideration, CMS removed the racial equity provisions in a new final rule published on November 5, 2025.¹²
HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy and CMS Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz reversed Biden's discriminatory policy.
Do No Harm's chairman Dr. Stanley Goldfarb praised the decision: "While masquerading under the misleading 'anti-racist' moniker, in practice, these policies injected race-based decision making into the doctor-patient relationship."¹³
Goldfarb explained that Biden implemented this rule in 2021 at the "peak of post-George Floyd" America when Democrats decided to go "all-in on anti-racism."¹⁴
They weren't trying to improve healthcare.
They were using your doctor's office as another weapon in their war against merit and excellence.
When "anti-racist" ideologue Ibram X. Kendi says "The only remedy to past discrimination is present discrimination," he's not speaking in abstractions.¹⁵
He means your white grandfather with heart disease should get different treatment than someone else because of skin color.
He means doctors should make decisions based on checking racial boxes instead of medical need.
That's exactly what Biden tried to force into Medicare.
Dr. Miceli got it exactly right: "Medicine must remain rooted in the principle of treating each patient as a unique individual, guided by their specific circumstances, not by group identity."¹⁶
Every patient deserves a doctor who sees them as a human being, not as a representative of a racial category.
Biden's rule violated the most basic principle of medicine – treat the patient in front of you based on their individual needs.
Trump didn't just reverse one bad regulation.
He sent a message to every bureaucrat who buried woke ideology in federal rules: we're coming for all of it.
Do No Harm has now filed complaints against over 50 institutions and built a nationwide network of 35,000 members exposing how the Left infiltrated medical schools and healthcare systems with DEI poison.¹⁷
The organization's lawsuit victory against Biden's anti-racism rule marks the first major court win in the battle to restore merit-based medicine.
But here's what should terrify every American: how many other schemes like this are still buried in the federal bureaucracy?
How many other agencies are paying bonuses for woke compliance while bureaucrats lie to Congress about it?
Trump's got four years to find out.
And every single bureaucrat who thinks they can hide this garbage better hope he doesn't.
