Trump delivered one massive victory that left California Democrats speechless

The Trump administration just solved a problem that stumped politicians for decades.

Democrats failed to address this disgusting crisis for years while residents suffered.

And Trump delivered one massive victory that left California Democrats speechless.

Trump administration brokers historic deal to end Tijuana sewage nightmare

President Trump’s Environmental Protection Agency just accomplished what seemed impossible – getting Mexico to take responsibility for the raw sewage that’s been poisoning Southern California for decades.

EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin signed a groundbreaking memorandum of understanding with Mexico in Mexico City that promises a "100% solution" to the Tijuana River sewage crisis.¹

The numbers are staggering and disgusting.

Since October 2023 alone, a staggering 31 billion gallons of raw sewage and waste have poured from Mexico into the Tijuana River system and contaminated the Pacific Ocean.²

That’s not a typo – 31 billion gallons of Mexican sewage contaminating American waters.

For years, San Diego beaches have been forced to close because of dangerous bacteria levels from Mexico’s waste. Just this month, more beaches were shuttered due to the ongoing contamination.³

But where Democrats saw an unsolvable problem, Trump saw an opportunity for America First diplomacy.

"We didn’t want to come here at the end, and we don’t want to leave at the end. We wanted to come here, sign this agreement, and report back the great news to all the millions of concerned residents in Southern California — the Trump administration is promptly delivering," Zeldin declared.⁴

The EPA Administrator made it clear this wasn’t some feel-good photo opportunity. This was about getting results for American families who’ve been ignored for too long.

Mexico finally forced to pay up for poisoning American waters

The three-pronged strategy that Zeldin negotiated doesn’t mess around.

First, Mexico is obligated to cough up $93 million to address the crisis as settled in the U.S.-Mexico Minute 328 agreement.⁵

That’s Mexico paying to clean up Mexico’s mess – exactly what Trump promised.

Second, Mexico must evaluate all relevant infrastructure projects within 100 days to ensure speedy completion. No more endless delays and bureaucratic foot-dragging.

Third, the deal calls for a new Minute agreement to lock in permanent solutions.

"The follow-through needs to be total. It needs to be fast. It needs to be urgent. It needs to be with unlimited dedication and passion," Zeldin said.⁶

This isn’t just about money or infrastructure. American service members have been getting sick because of Mexico’s sewage problem.

Several Navy SEALs reportedly became ill after training off the coast of San Diego, possibly from the Mexican sewage contamination.⁷

When Zeldin toured the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in April, he saw firsthand how Mexico’s waste was impacting our military’s ability to train safely.

That’s unacceptable. And Trump’s team wasn’t going to let it continue.

Democrats ignored this crisis while Trump delivered solutions

For decades, California Democrats have known about this problem and done virtually nothing to solve it.

They’ve been perfectly content to let Mexican sewage flow into American waters while they focused on their woke priorities.

But Trump’s EPA didn’t just talk about the problem – they flew to Mexico City and hammered out a deal that actually addresses the root causes.

Zeldin made it clear that this agreement represents the kind of leadership Americans have been craving.

"I’m so excited to be in Mexico City, because I know how important this is to the residents of Southern California and all of us in the Trump administration," Zeldin explained.⁸

He noted that when he visited Southern California, he met with "proud Americans who are looking for leadership and action from the Trump administration. It included people who voted for President Trump and people who didn’t vote for President Trump. And our efforts here are to deliver for everyone."⁹

That’s the difference between Trump’s team and the previous administration.

While Democrats played politics, Trump’s EPA rolled up their sleeves and solved problems that matter to real Americans.

This agreement isn’t just about 2025 – it’s designed to protect Southern California residents "in 2030, 2035, and beyond," according to Zeldin.¹⁰

The Tijuana River sewage crisis has been a decades-old disaster that previous administrations simply accepted as unsolvable.

Here’s what this really comes down to: Mexico has been dumping their sewage on us for decades, and nobody did anything about it until Trump showed up.

Previous administrations? They basically shrugged and said "that’s just how it is."

Not Trump. He sent Zeldin down there with a simple message – fix this mess or we’ll make it your problem in ways you won’t like.

And guess what? It worked.

California families shouldn’t have to worry about taking their kids to the beach because of Mexican sewage. Our Navy SEALs shouldn’t be getting sick during training exercises.

That’s just common sense – but apparently it took Trump to actually do something about it.
