Tim Walz hit the ground running after becoming the Democrats’ Vice Presidential nominee.
He’s already launched one broadside on the Constitution.
But Tim Walz watched this attack on freedom blow up in his face in the worst way.
Tim Walz is ready to start grabbing guns out of the gate
Vice President Kamala Harris tapped Minnesota Governor Tim Walz to be her running mate.
Harris picked a fellow gun grabber to join her on the ticket.
At their first campaign rally together in Philadelphia, Harris called for an assault weapons ban, universal background checks, and federal red flag gun confiscation laws.
Walz represented a Congressional District in rural Minnesota that borders Iowa from 2007 to 2019, where he used guns as an issue to his political benefit.
He used his alleged strong support for the Second Amendment to protect himself politically in a district that was trending more Republican.
The National Rifle Association (NRA) routinely gave him A ratings in his Congressional races.
Walz got cover to fool voters in his district that he wasn’t like gun-grabbing national Democrats.
In 2018, he completely reversed himself and became a rabid gun grabber when he ran for Governor.
Walz said school shootings changed his mind, but an A rating from the NRA was political poison in a Democrat Primary.
He signed a slew of gun control bills as Governor.
Tim Walz lies about his military service to push gun control
The Kamala Harris campaign account on X posted a video of Walz citing his time in the Minnesota National Guard as his justification for banning AR-15s.

“I spent 25 years in the Army and I hunt,” Walz ranted. “I’ve been voting for common sense legislation that protects the Second Amendment, but we can do background checks. We can research the impacts of gun violence. We can make sure those weapons of war, that I carried in war, are only carried in war.”
“Weapons of war” is what the anti-gunners call AR-15s and other common semi-automatic rifles.
Walz is lying through his teeth when he calls these weapons of war.
The AR-15 is the most common rifle in the country and while it might look like a military weapon, the military doesn’t use them.
Walz is using branding to try and make every day semi-automatic civilian rifles seem more dangerous.
But that’s the least of Walz’s worries after the Harris campaign posted that video.
He claimed that he carried weapons in war but that never happened.
The newly-minted Democrat Vice Presidential candidate was never in combat and he never deployed to a war zone during his career in the National Guard, records show.
Walz did one deployment to Italy in a non-combat role.
He retired from the National Guard to run for Congress before he could be deployed with his unit to Iraq.
Walz used his military service to help him push for more gun control.
The Harris campaign account put him in the middle of a stolen valor scandal.
Lying about going to war is a black-and-white case of stolen valor.
Tim Walz’s zeal for gun control is going to come back to haunt him.
