Demi Tebow knows something about chasing the wrong kind of fame.

She’s also learned what really matters when the cameras stop rolling.

And Tim Tebow’s wife just issued one warning about social media that has parents cheering.

Christian celebrity speaks truth about social media’s dangers

Former Miss Universe winner Demi Tebow recently sat down with Fox News Digital to discuss her new devotional book and share some hard truths about where people are looking for validation these days.

The wife of football legend and outspoken Christian Tim Tebow didn’t mince words about the damage social media is doing to people’s sense of self-worth.

"It’s so easy to rely on what other people might say of us, what social media might point us to," Tebow explained during the interview.¹

But here’s where she drew the line that parents across America have been waiting for a celebrity to draw.

Instead of chasing likes and follows, Tebow pointed people toward something that actually lasts – the truth found in God’s Word.

"I’ve relied on pointing back to the truth," she said, describing how Biblical principles guided her through seasons of frustration and disappointment.¹

The timing of her message couldn’t be more important, especially as the nation mourns the tragic loss of Charlie Kirk, who "stood so immensely courageously and boldly for what he believed in and what he believed was right."¹

Tebow draws from personal experience with fleeting fame

What makes Demi Tebow’s warning so powerful is that she’s not speaking as an outsider looking in.

She literally wore a Miss Universe crown – the kind of recognition millions of young women dream about.

But she learned something that social media addicts desperately need to hear.

"Paul tells us as believers not to chase perishable crowns," Tebow said, referencing 1 Corinthians 9:25. "And [with] a pageant history and background myself, I physically wore a crown, but that crown is not something that lasted."¹

Think about that for a moment – here’s someone who achieved the pinnacle of beauty pageant success, and she’s telling parents that kind of validation is essentially worthless.

The contrast she drew should wake people up: "I truly believe the impact that we get to have on other people’s lives can be eternal."¹

New mother focuses on raising daughter with Biblical foundation

The Tebows welcomed their first child, daughter Daphne, in August – and becoming a mother has only strengthened Demi’s resolve to reject social media’s poison.

"Tim and I have prayed over Daphne’s life … that she will truly live her life according to the calling that God has for her," she explained.¹

Here’s what’s refreshing about their approach as parents.

They’re not hoping their daughter becomes an influencer or chases viral fame.

Instead, they want her to "rule and reign, not in the sense of power, but in the sense of the calling that God has specifically for her life."¹

The Tebows understand something that modern parenting culture has forgotten – that a child’s worth doesn’t come from external validation or social media metrics.

"[God’s] love for us will never change and who He created us to be will never change," Demi emphasized.¹

Parents find hope in celebrity couple’s traditional values

Look, here’s what makes this story different from the usual celebrity nonsense.

Most famous couples use their platform to push whatever woke ideology is trending that week.

The Tebows are using their influence to point people back to timeless Biblical principles that actually work.

Demi wrote her devotional "Knowing Who You Are Because of Who God Is" while pregnant, dedicating it to her daughter – showing the kind of intentional parenting that builds strong families.

"The ways that Jesus loves us, cares for us, has a perfect plan for each one of us in our lives helped me in a season of waiting, of frustration, of letdowns – and pointed me back to truth every single time," she shared.¹

For parents watching social media destroy their children’s confidence and mental health, the Tebows represent something increasingly rare in celebrity culture.

They’re actually promoting the values that built strong families for generations, instead of chasing whatever gets them more followers.

That’s the kind of influence children need – and parents can finally point to a celebrity couple that gets it right.
