Ted Cruz Exposed Biden’s Secret Censorship Army That Silenced Millions of Americans

The Biden administration thought they could hide their war on free speech forever.

But a bombshell Senate report just blew the lid off their most secretive censorship operation.

And Ted Cruz just exposed Biden’s secret censorship army that silenced millions of Americans without them ever knowing who was behind it.

The government agency you’ve never heard of that became Biden’s thought police

Most Americans have no idea what the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency does.

That’s exactly how Joe Biden wanted it.

While everyone was focused on Twitter’s obvious censorship and Facebook’s suppression of conservative content, Biden’s team was running a much more sophisticated operation through the Department of Homeland Security’s cybersecurity division.

The agency was supposedly created to protect election systems from cyber threats.

Instead, they turned it into a censorship machine that could make Communist China jealous.

A new Senate report reveals how the cybersecurity agency worked hand-in-glove with Big Tech platforms to silence everyday Americans who dared question the official narrative.¹

The most chilling part? They did it all in secret, using a practice called "switchboarding" that let them hide their fingerprints on the censorship.

Here’s how the scam worked: state election officials would flag social media posts they didn’t like and send them to the cybersecurity agency.

The agency would then send these complaints directly to Twitter, Facebook, and other platforms – usually within minutes.

The posts would disappear faster than you could say "First Amendment."

One tweet shows how the system really worked

On October 7, 2020, someone using the Twitter handle "nodrog danarb" posted a warning: "All conservatives vote in person. Don’t trust the mail."

Nothing threatening, nothing false – just a citizen expressing concern about mail-in voting during a pandemic.

But that was enough to trigger Biden’s censorship machine.

Within 20 minutes of a state official flagging the tweet, the cybersecurity agency had sent the complaint directly to Twitter.

By early morning the next day, the post had vanished.

The user probably never knew what hit them – or that their own government was behind their silencing.

That’s the real genius of Biden’s system: it looked like Big Tech censorship, but the government was pulling the strings behind the scenes.

The woman who called Americans’ minds "critical infrastructure"

Leading this operation was Jen Easterly, Biden’s pick to run the cybersecurity agency.

This woman actually had the audacity to say that "the most critical infrastructure is our cognitive infrastructure."

Think about what that means for a moment.

A federal bureaucrat – paid by your tax dollars – declared that your ability to think for yourself was "infrastructure" that needed government protection.

Easterly explained that "building that resilience to misinformation and disinformation" was CISA’s job.

Translation: if you think the wrong thoughts or share the wrong information, Big Sister is watching.

The agency even created a category called "malinformation" – which they defined as information that’s completely true but taken "out of context" in ways they don’t like.

So even when you were sharing facts, they could still censor you if those facts made Democrats look bad.

They went after parents fighting Critical Race Theory

The most disgusting example came from Loudoun County, Virginia – the same place that became ground zero for the parental rights movement.

A parent posted a video of a county official to expose what was happening in their schools.

The county flagged it as "misinformation" not because it was false – but because the parent was "linked to Parents Against Critical Race Theory."

That’s right: they censored a completely accurate video because they didn’t like the politics of the person who posted it.

The report noted that this was part of "a larger campaign to discredit" the official.

God forbid parents should be allowed to discredit school officials who are indoctrinating their children.

The cybersecurity agency dutifully sent this complaint to Twitter, and the video disappeared.

The coverup shows they knew exactly what they were doing

When investigators started asking questions, CISA went into full coverup mode.

In 2021, the Department of Homeland Security’s own inspector general tried to audit CISA’s anti-disinformation efforts.

They asked for the names of CISA’s contacts at social media companies – basic information needed for any legitimate oversight.

CISA refused to provide the information.

Even worse, they warned their Big Tech contacts that investigators were asking questions.

They literally obstructed an investigation into their own censorship activities.

When a First Amendment lawsuit threatened to expose their operation, CISA got creative.

They outsourced their switchboarding efforts to a nonprofit they funded called the Elections Infrastructure Information Sharing and Analysis Center.

Same censorship, different letterhead – but now with plausible deniability.

They also scrubbed their website of references to "malinformation" to hide the evidence of their overreach.

Ted Cruz calls out the real pattern here

Senator Ted Cruz, who chairs the Senate Commerce Committee, didn’t mince words about what this report reveals.

"Our report shows that the Biden administration used CISA to strong arm social media companies into taking action against speech protected by the First Amendment," Cruz stated.²

But Cruz also made a crucial point that every conservative needs to understand: "For the past decade, I’ve led the fight against government censorship, whether it’s CISA or the FCC or the Biden White House."

The Texas Senator is warning that these precedents don’t just disappear when the political winds change.

"Inevitably, these tactics have been and will be disproportionately used to silence conservatives," Cruz explained.

That’s why Cruz has been consistent in opposing government pressure on media companies – even when that pressure might benefit conservatives in the short term.

The AI threat that’s coming next

Here’s what should really worry you: CISA was supposedly created to protect election security, and look how quickly it became a censorship agency.

Now Congress is considering new agencies to regulate artificial intelligence.

The same bureaucrats who turned election security into thought policing are salivating at the chance to control AI systems that millions of Americans will use for information.

President Trump has promised to fight "woke AI" that encodes partisan judgments into its responses.

But the Senate report serves as a warning: unelected bureaucrats have "outsized power to direct agencies’ activities" regardless of who’s in the White House.

The report specifically warns lawmakers to "keep in mind the Biden administration’s transformation of CISA" as they consider AI regulations.

Give these people an inch with AI oversight, and they’ll take a mile with controlling what information Americans can access.

The lesson conservatives must learn

This isn’t just about exposing what Biden did – it’s about preventing the next administration from doing the same thing.

CISA was created with unanimous bipartisan support specifically to protect national security.

Within months, mission creep turned it into Biden’s personal censorship bureau.

The same thing will happen with any new government agency given broad powers over information or technology.

Every American who values free speech should be asking their representatives one simple question: what safeguards will you put in place to prevent the next CISA?

Because you can bet that somewhere in Washington, D.C., bureaucrats are already planning the next "critical infrastructure" that needs their protection.

And your constitutional rights won’t survive their help.
