The woke cancel machine just found its most unlikely target.
A major celebrity dared to question why Disney keeps shoving LGBTQ content into children’s movies.
And Snoop Dogg gave Disney one reason to hate him that has the woke mob seeing red.
Snoop Dogg commits the unforgivable sin of protecting his grandson
Rapper Snoop Dogg committed the ultimate crime in Hollywood’s eyes – he put his family first.
During a podcast appearance last week, Snoop told a story that will resonate with countless American families.
The rapper brought his grandson to see Disney’s Lightyear in 2022, thinking they’d watch a simple adventure about Buzz Lightyear.
What happened instead? Gay characters appeared on screen, prompting his young grandson to ask how two women can have a baby.
"So it’s like… I’m scared to go to the movies. Like y’all throwing me in the middle of s*** that I don’t have an answer for," Snoop said.
The rapper wanted nothing more than quality time with his grandson at the movies without navigating complex adult topics with a child.
But in today’s America, that reasonable expectation makes you a target for destruction.
Professional agitators smell blood in the water
The woke mob wasted no time mobilizing against Snoop Dogg after his honest comments went public.
Snoop was set to headline the Australian Football League’s grand final day, their marquee annual event.
But former AFL players are now publicly calling for his removal.
"Snoop is presenting on grand final day, the biggest day of the year for AFL. It’s a controversial choice," former Demons player David Schwarz told News.com.
"I’ll make a statement here, he will get cancelled, he will not be presenting on grand final day," Schwarz continued. "Snoop will be cancelled this week and rightfully so. You can’t isolate a minority group."
Another former AFL player, Brendan Fevola, piled on with his own prediction that the league would cave to pressure.
"Because of his lyrics in his song and he talked about (struggling to discuss) – gay parents over the weekend. I think he will get the arse, and they are going to go for an Aussie artist to play at the MCG. That will happen, take that to the bank. He will get the (arse), which he should," Fevola exclaimed.
Schwarz pointed out that AFL Crows player Izak Rankine recently faced major controversy and received a four-game suspension for using a homophobic slur, suggesting the league would treat Snoop’s comments similarly.
"Everyone has condemned Rankine and then when you have our guest of honor making those comments, there will be big discussions. It’s reported he is being paid $5 million … you just don’t know what he’s going to do," he said.
Disney’s war on American families continues
Think about what just happened here.
A grandfather took his grandson to see what he thought was a children’s movie about a toy space ranger.
Disney used that opportunity to force conversations about alternative lifestyles on a young child.
When the grandfather expressed frustration about this ambush, professional activists immediately started working to destroy his career.
This is the playbook Disney and their allies use against anyone who dares question their agenda.
They don’t just want to push LGBTQ content into every piece of children’s entertainment – they want to punish parents who object to it.
Snoop Dogg isn’t some right-wing political activist.
He’s a rap legend who simply wanted to watch a movie with his grandson without having to navigate complex adult topics with a child.
But that’s not allowed in Disney’s America.
The entertainment giant has made it clear that parents have no right to control when or how their children are exposed to discussions about sexuality.
And if you dare complain about it, they’ll sick their activist allies on you to make sure you never work again.
The Australian Football League now faces a choice.
Will they stand up for a grandfather’s right to protect his family’s innocence?
Or will they cave to the mob and cancel a $5 million performer because he committed the crime of wanting age-appropriate entertainment for children?
Based on how these situations usually play out, don’t hold your breath for corporate courage.
