Harvard University’s gravy train just derailed.
President Trump is finally making the elite Ivy League school pay for its anti-American antics.
And Scott Jennings made liberal CNN hosts turn pale as ghosts after Trump’s Harvard knockdown.
Trump drops $2.2 billion hammer on Harvard that will leave them reeling
President Donald Trump just delivered a knockout blow that has Harvard University’s liberal leadership in full panic mode. The Trump administration is freezing a whopping $2.2 billion in federal grants that have been flowing into Harvard’s coffers for years.
This devastating financial hit comes after Harvard repeatedly refused to address radical anti-American activism on campus and failed to properly screen international students who harbor hostile views toward the United States.
Harvard President Alan Garber responded to Trump’s action with stunning arrogance, declaring Monday that Harvard “will not surrender its independence or relinquish its constitutional rights.”
That smug response from a university sitting on a mountain of cash – a $53 billion endowment – sparked CNN commentator Scott Jennings to deliver a take-no-prisoners response that left liberal panelists speechless.
Jennings demolishes liberal CNN panel over Harvard’s massive taxpayer handouts
The funding freeze triggered an explosive confrontation on CNN’s “The Arena with Kasie Hunt” Tuesday when liberal commentator Lulu Garcia-Navarro tried desperately to defend Harvard.
“The idea of the federal government is that you’re supposed to actually, you know, look at the people of the United States and try to deal with them fairly,” Garcia-Navarro whined, accusing Trump of “weaponizing” federal funding for political purposes.
That’s when Jennings unleashed a blistering takedown that left the entire panel frozen in stunned silence.
“And who do the people elect to be stewards of their money? The President of the United States,” Jennings thundered. “Who gets to spend the money? Who has to cut the checks? Who has to faithfully execute the laws of this country? It’s the President.”
The liberal panelists were left utterly speechless by Jennings’ brutal truth bomb.
Jennings exposes Harvard’s America-hating agenda that has patriots fuming
But Jennings was just warming up.
He went for the jugular by questioning why hardworking American taxpayers should keep funneling billions to an elite institution drowning in wealth that openly despises traditional American values.
“If you went out to the American people right now and said ‘well, we’re just not gonna make it as a country unless we give $9 billion to Harvard,'” he said, “you’d get your a** kicked, I imagine, in a political campaign.”
“If you went out and argued to the American people right now and said, well, we’re just not going to make it as a country unless we give $9 billion to Harvard, that’s sitting on $53 billion, you’d get your ass kicked. I imagine, in a political campaign.”

Jennings then delivered the knockout punch that left liberals reeling.
“[Trump’s] standing up for people who have no advocates on these campuses. Nobody on these campuses will stand up for them because it’s not in vogue to do so on the campus. President Trump is standing up for these kids and that’s why [Harvard] is upset about it.”
He concluded his masterful takedown by warning that elite universities have become breeding grounds for radical activists who “fundamentally hate Western civilization.”
And just like that, Jennings had completely dismantled the Left’s defense of Harvard’s outrageous behavior.
Harvard’s shocking record of promoting radical ideology exposed in damning investigation
The Trump administration’s decisive action follows a shocking congressional investigation that revealed Harvard has been allowing radical anti-American sentiment to flourish on campus while raking in billions of taxpayer dollars.
The investigation found that Harvard repeatedly turned a blind eye to disruptive campus activism, including multi-day occupations and class disruptions that prevented students from receiving the education they paid for.
Most disturbing of all, Congress discovered that Harvard has been admitting international students with concerning backgrounds and ideologies without proper vetting procedures.
The Trump administration isn’t stopping with Harvard. They’re also moving forward with deportation proceedings against Mahmoud Khalil, a Syrian-born activist caught organizing protest encampments at Columbia University. Federal officials say Khalil’s activities showed clear anti-American sentiment.
This bold action marks a dramatic shift after years of Democrat administrations allowing elite universities to pocket billions in taxpayer money while becoming hotbeds of America-hating radicalism.
Garcia-Navarro and her liberal CNN colleagues may cry foul about Trump’s approach, but Jennings’ fiery defense struck a chord with millions of Americans sick and tired of seeing their tax dollars fund institutions that openly despise American values.
Harvard’s defiant response proves once and for all that the elite university sees itself as above the American people who fund its existence.
