The washed-up comedian can’t stop thinking about Donald Trump.
She’s been obsessing over him from across the ocean for months.
And Rosie O’Donnell utterly destroyed herself with one sick claim about the Texas flooding tragedy.
Rosie O’Donnell blames Trump for Texas flood deaths
Failed talk show host Rosie O’Donnell fled to Ireland after Donald Trump won the 2024 election.
But apparently moving halfway across the world wasn’t enough distance to cure her Trump Derangement Syndrome.
The 63-year-old expat took to TikTok on Sunday to spew her latest unhinged rant about the President.
This time, she blamed Trump for the devastating flash floods in Texas that killed more than 80 people, including 28 children.
"What a horror story in Texas. The flash floods in Texas, the Guadalupe River, 51 missing — 51 dead, more missing, children at a camp," O’Donnell said in her social media post.¹
She then launched into a completely fabricated attack on Trump’s policies.
"And, you know, when the President guts all of the early warning systems and the weathering forecast abilities of the government, these are the results that we’re going to start to see on a daily basis because he’s put this country in so much danger by his horrible, horrible decisions and this ridiculously immoral bill that he just signed into law," O’Donnell ranted.¹
The bitter comedian was referring to Trump’s "Big, Beautiful Bill" that he signed into law on July 4th.
She predicted that such tragedies would occur on a "daily basis" because of the landmark legislation.
"Shame on him," she continued. "Shame on every GOP sycophant who’s listening and following the disastrous decisions of this mentally incapacitated POTUS."¹
George Stephanopoulos piles on with more lies
O’Donnell wasn’t the only Trump-hater pushing lies about the Texas tragedy.
ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos also blamed Trump for inadequate staffing at the National Weather Service during Sunday’s edition of "This Week."
"We’re also learning there were significant staffing shortfalls to the National Weather Services offices in the region," Stephanopoulos claimed.²
This is the same George Stephanopoulos who cost ABC $16 million in a defamation lawsuit settlement last year for his bogus rape allegations against Trump.
But Stephanopoulos was pushing another hoax that was easily debunked by other media outlets.
But as is often the case with Stephanopoulos, he was pushing a hoax which was easily debunked by other media outlets that reported that the local NWS office in New Braunfels, Texas had extra staff on hand for the storms.
White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson responded to the false claims in a statement to media outlets.
"False claims about the NWS have been repeatedly debunked by meteorologists, experts, and other public reporting," Jackson said. "The NWS did their job, even issuing a flood watch more than 12 hours in advance."²
The National Weather Service had provided proper advance warning about the dangerous flooding conditions that were developing.
Trump responds with compassion
President Trump showed real leadership in responding to the Texas tragedy.
"This is a hundred-year catastrophe and it’s just so horrible to watch," Trump told reporters on Sunday.²
He said he would "probably" visit the disaster area later this week.
"I would’ve done it today but we just would’ve been in their way," Trump added.²
The President understood that his presence would interfere with rescue operations.
That’s the kind of thoughtful leadership Americans expect from their commander-in-chief.
Meanwhile, Rosie O’Donnell was sitting in her Irish exile posting TikTok videos blaming Trump for a natural disaster.
The contrast couldn’t be more stark.
The Left’s sick obsession continues
The tragic flooding in Texas has claimed 82 lives, with 28 of those victims being children.
Some of the young victims were girls from Camp Mystic, a Christian summer camp in Kerr County.
Dozens of people remain missing as rescue operations continue.
Families are grieving the loss of their loved ones.
But instead of showing compassion for the victims, Democrats like O’Donnell and Stephanopoulos saw an opportunity to attack Trump.
They’re so consumed with hatred that they’ll exploit any tragedy to score political points.
O’Donnell moved halfway across the world supposedly to escape Trump.
But she can’t stop thinking about him.
She spends her days obsessing over American politics from her Irish hideaway.
It’s actually kind of sad when you think about it.
The woman who once had a successful career in entertainment has been reduced to posting angry TikTok videos about a President she claims to hate.
Trump is living rent-free in her head even though she’s living rent-free in Ireland.
That’s what Trump Derangement Syndrome does to people.
It consumes them completely.
The American people can see right through these desperate attacks.
They know the difference between real leadership and political opportunism.
Trump is focused on helping the victims of this tragedy.
The Democrats are focused on attacking Trump.
That tells you everything you need to know about the two parties.
