The series attacks a show that actually motivated overweight Americans to transform their lives through hard work and determination.
Among the stories featured is Tracey Yukich, who participated in Season 8 and experienced a medical emergency during competition in 2009.
Yukich suffered a medical emergency during the show’s first challenge and had to be airlifted to a hospital – a tragic accident, but one that happens in competitive athletics all the time.
According to the documentary, she recalled: "I don’t remember a lot. I remember hearing the helicopter. I just felt like I was floating. And then my grandpa was there. And then I saw darkness. But then I saw light. So I knew, I knew I died that day."¹
The reality star later blamed herself, saying she thought "it was my fault because I was fat."²
Jay Leno gets unfairly targeted for doing his job
Following her medical incident, Yukich became a guest on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" in November 2009.
According to the documentary, during this television appearance, Leno read death threats that she had received from viewers – which was part of late-night television’s approach to topical humor at the time.
This was standard entertainment industry practice, nothing more.
But now the woke mob is trying to rewrite history and paint Leno as some kind of monster for interviewing a reality TV star.
Jay Leno spent decades entertaining American families with clean, wholesome comedy.
He’s one of the few Hollywood figures who has stayed out of partisan politics and focused on making people laugh.
But apparently, that’s not enough for today’s cancel culture warriors.
Unhinged Rosie O’Donnell leads the attack
After viewing the Netflix production, radical leftist Rosie O’Donnell launched a social media assault against the respected comedian.
"Jay Leno is a mean a—— #biggestloserdocumentary," O’Donnell wrote on her Instagram.³
The post included photos trying to make Leno look bad for doing a standard television interview.
But O’Donnell wasn’t done with her unhinged rant.
She also went after former "Biggest Loser" trainer Bob Harper for refusing to apologize for helping people get healthy.
"Ok now bob harper – can u not say IM SORRY – seriously- so hurtful- so cruel – come on bob," O’Donnell posted.⁴
Harper courageously stood his ground, stating in the documentary that he "will stand behind everything that I’ve ever done" on "The Biggest Loser" and denied that he ever "put anyone in harm’s way."⁵
