One of “The View” co-hosts just insulted America in one very sick way

The View is one show that puts the brain rot inside the media on display every single day.

This show exists in a universe where the lessons of the 2016 and 2024 elections never broke through.

And one of The View co-hosts just insulted America in one very sick way.

Sunny Hostin claims Kamala Harris lost because America is sexist

When Joe and Jill Biden were on The View, Joe Biden claimed Americans rejected Kamala Harris because they are a bunch of sexists.

“I wasn’t surprised, not because I didn’t think the vice president was the most qualified person to be president. She is. She’s qualified to be president of the United States of America… I wasn’t surprised because they went the route of the sexist route, the whole route,” Biden stated. “I mean, this is a woman, she’s this, she’s that. I mean, it really — I’ve never seen quite as successful and consistent campaign undercutting the notion that a woman couldn’t lead the country, and a woman of mixed race.”

It was easy for Biden to take this path because it deflected attention away from his failed agenda and the fact that he ran for re-election when the public could tell he was obviously senile.

In a subsequent discussion, co-host Sara Haines showed she was trying to pivot away from identity politics when 2028 comes around and the Democrat Party needs to pick a candidate.

“I don’t look at people first by the woman, a black man, a gay person, a this, I look at the best candidate and then they happen to have all these other things they bring to it,” Haines began.

“You may be a little different from most of the country,” co-host Sunny Hostin interjected.

Haines said Democrats were going to lose again if they continued to browbeat the voters about being on the so-called “right side of history.”

“We’ve got to stop telling the American public what they’re ready for,” Haines replied.

“We lost twice when women ran. I mean,” co-host Joy Behar said of the fact that both times Democrats ran women candidates they lost to Donald Trump.

Haines again rejected the idea that sexism played a role in Hillary Clinton’s or Kamala’s defeat. “Is there no distinguishing factors to each woman and why they might have lost?”

“Hillary Clinton was one of the most qualified candidates in history for president,” Hostin said, repeating the lie Democrats have told themselves since 2016.

“To a failed game show host,” Behar snarked.

Haines was willing to broach the truth, which was that Hillary lost in large part due to decades of scandals that rendered the epitome of the Washington swamp in the minds of voters.

“I loved her, I voted for her, but the number one thing I heard about from people who didn’t like her was a mystery about the Clinton baggage. I don’t trust her,” Haines replied.

Hostin wasn’t having any of it and doubled down on sexism as the reason for Hillary Clinton’s defeat.

“They weaponize her husband against Hillary Clinton. The bottom line is this country is a misogynistic country, and this country is a country that, out of all the first world countries, hasn’t been able to elect a female president. That is just factual,” Haines stated.

Democrats handed Hillary Clinton the 2016 nomination, believing it was time for the first woman President.

Democrats handed Kamala Harris the nomination in 2024 because they didn’t want to take it away from the first black female Vice President.

Both times Democrats made their nominating choices based solely on identity politics instead of who was the best candidate, they lost.

Sonny Hostin’s refusal to let go of identity politics is emblematic of how much of the Democrat Party base is yoked to woke ideology.

And identity politics is likely to play another huge role in the Democrat Party nominating process in 2028.
