But her latest meltdown went to a whole new level.
And Maxine Waters turned red with rage after Donald Trump made one move that left her completely unhinged.
Maxine Waters loses it over National Guard deployment in Los Angeles
Los Angeles erupted in chaos after violent riots broke out at the Metropolitan Detention Center.
The unrest was sparked by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrests that occurred as part of President Trump’s crackdown on illegal immigration.
Democrat Mayor Karen Bass and Governor Gavin Newsom proved they couldn’t control the situation.
So President Trump did what any responsible commander-in-chief would do.
He deployed the National Guard to restore order and protect public safety.
But that decision sent Representative Maxine Waters (D-CA) into a complete tailspin.
The California Democrat Congresswoman rushed to the scene on Sunday like a moth to a flame.
Waters attempted to visit SEIU union boss David Huerta, who was arrested during the violent protests over the weekend.
But when detention center officials slammed the door in her face, Waters completely lost her composure.
CNN’s Kyung Lah was on the scene to capture Waters’ unhinged rant for all of America to see.
"I don’t know why we have guns!" Waters shrieked. "What are those guns for? Are they to shoot protesters?"
Waters was referring to the standard-issue M4 rifles carried by National Guard troops.
But apparently the Congresswoman doesn’t understand that law enforcement and military personnel carry weapons to protect themselves and maintain order.
Waters calls Trump a "cruel, dishonorable human being"
Waters wasn’t finished with her tantrum.
She then launched into a vicious personal attack against President Trump that showed just how unhinged the Left has become.
"I mean, there’s no reason to be here with the National Guard," Waters declared. "The President of the United States is a cruel dishonorable human being who would just as soon they shoot somebody down. But I don’t want that to happen. I do not want th– I want the elected officials to do everything that we can to dissuade them."
Waters’ comments were both disgusting and dangerous.
She essentially accused the President of wanting to murder protesters.
This is the same Maxine Waters who once encouraged her supporters to confront Trump administration officials wherever they find them.
"If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere," Waters said in 2018.
But now she has the audacity to call Trump "cruel" and "dishonorable" for trying to restore law and order.
The hypocrisy is breathtaking.
National Guard deployment was necessary to protect public safety
CNN’s Kyung Lah reported that the National Guard troops were equipped with batons and standard military rifles.
She described the deployment as heavily militarized in response to the crowd that had gathered.
But what Lah failed to mention was that these weren’t peaceful protesters.
They were violent agitators who had already clashed with police and created chaos in downtown Los Angeles.
The National Guard troops weren’t there to suppress free speech.
They were there to protect public safety and prevent the situation from spiraling completely out of control.
And sure enough, shortly after Waters’ comments aired on CNN, violent confrontations erupted between demonstrators and law enforcement.
The dangerous scenes from downtown Los Angeles proved that Trump’s decision to deploy the National Guard was the right call.
Waters continues her pattern of inflammatory rhetoric
This latest meltdown is just the latest example of Waters’ dangerous rhetoric.
She has spent years demonizing President Trump and his supporters.
Now she’s doing the same thing to the brave men and women of the National Guard who are risking their lives to keep Los Angeles safe.
Waters questioned why the troops were carrying weapons and suggested they were there to "shoot protesters."
This kind of inflammatory language is designed to incite more violence and chaos.
It’s exactly the opposite of what a responsible elected official should be doing during a crisis.
But Waters has never been interested in being responsible.
She’s only interested in attacking Trump and advancing her radical left-wing agenda.
Trump puts America First while Democrats choose chaos
The contrast couldn’t be clearer.
President Trump saw a dangerous situation developing in Los Angeles and took decisive action to protect public safety.
Democrat officials like Waters, Mayor Bass, and Governor Newsom either couldn’t or wouldn’t handle the crisis.
So they’re now attacking Trump for cleaning up their mess.
This is what leadership looks like.
Trump isn’t going to sit back and watch American cities burn while Democrats play politics.
He’s going to enforce the law and protect American citizens from violent criminals and illegal aliens.
And if radical Democrats like Maxine Waters don’t like it, that’s too bad.
The American people elected Trump to restore law and order.
And that’s exactly what he’s doing.
