The vast majority of Americans rely on the internet and social media to read or watch the news.

Gone are the days of newspapers and magazines, which used to give daily, weekly, or even monthly updates to its readers, rather than the breaking news that internet sources provide.

And this Mark Zuckerberg bombshell forced another Silicon Valley executive to step forward.

Mark Zuckerberg’s confession has created a major headache for the Biden-Harris administration

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s jaw-dropping letter to Congressman Jim Jordan (R-OH), admitting his coordination with the federal government to censor Americans online, reveals what many Americans knew all along.

In his letter, Zuckerberg stated that following the outbreak of the pandemic, the Biden-Harris administration pressured social media companies like Meta to silence anybody who dared to question the administration’s pandemic response.

More specifically, Zuckerberg told Congressman Jordan, “Ultimately, it was our decision whether or not to take content down, and we own our decisions, including COVID-19-related changes we made to our enforcement in the wake of this pressure.”

“I believe the government pressure was wrong, and I regret that we were not more outspoken about it,” the Meta boss added in his letter.

Other Big Tech executives have since come forward, admitting that the federal government approached them too, or at the very least they weren’t surprised that the government engaged in such censorship efforts.

Former Parler CEO John Matze is among these tech executives speaking out against the Biden-Harris administration.

Matze joined FOX Business’ Stuart Varney following the Zuckerberg admission.

Matze told the Fox Business host, “This is not surprising at all,” referring to Zuckerberg’s recent letter to Jim Jordan.

“If you look back in 2020, when I was running Parler, we were confronted with similar force, and warnings from the FBI to also censor the Hunter Biden laptop scandal, and we chose not to. It was obvious that that was inappropriate, and we stood up to that,” the former Parler CEO added Tuesday.

Despite facing intense pressure following Zuckerberg’s bombshell confession, the Joe Biden administration refuses to admit any wrongdoing.

In a statement, the White House reacted to Zuckerberg’s letter, stating that “Our position has been clear and consistent.”

“We believe tech companies and other private actors should take into account the effects of their actions that they have on the American people while making independent choices about the information that they present,” the Biden-Harris administration added.

Mark Zuckerberg revealed what many Americans knew all along

Mark Zuckerberg’s confession to submitting to the federal government’s censorship pressure does not reveal anything new.

For years, many Americans have known about these dubious efforts, however, hearing them from the horse’s mouth shows that many tech executives might have regrets about such actions.

If Kamala Harris wins this November, many Americans fear that such blatant censorship will not end, with White House officials continuing to pressure outside companies to circumvent the First Amendment.
