Lara Trump destroyed a liberal journalist for this sick attack on Charlie Kirk

The media refuses to learn its lesson about Charlie Kirk.

Journalists have turned his death into a political prop.

And Lara Trump destroyed a liberal journalist for this sick attack on Charlie Kirk.

Katie Couric tries to get John Fetterman to trash Charlie Kirk

Katie Couric had Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman on her podcast "Next Question with Katie Couric" for what should have been a straightforward interview.

Instead, Couric decided to use the opportunity to try and get Fetterman to condemn the murdered conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

After Fetterman condemned "extreme rhetoric" in politics, Couric pounced with her gotcha moment.

"Some people might say Charlie Kirk's rhetoric was extreme," Couric stated.

She wasn't done twisting the knife.

"People condemned political violence, but they also felt a great deal of discomfort with his language, suggesting that these kinds of words lead to violence," Couric added.

Translation: Kirk had it coming because of what he said.

That's the kind of victim-blaming garbage the media has been pushing since Kirk was assassinated on September 10th while speaking at Utah Valley University.

Fetterman, to his credit, didn't take the bait.

"I'm an absolute free speech guy and you have the right to say these things," Fetterman said. "And you definitely also have the right not to get shot by sharing your views."

It was a rare moment of clarity from a Democrat senator who has shocked Washington, D.C. by occasionally breaking with his party's talking points.

Lara Trump obliterates Katie Couric on national television

Fox News host Lara Trump wasn't about to let Katie Couric's victim-blaming slide for one second.

She eviscerated the former NBC anchor on "America's Newsroom" for trying to justify Kirk's murder right to John Fetterman's face.

"Maybe Katie Couric should do a deep dive into what Charlie Kirk stood for because he stood for freedom of speech, no matter what it was you were saying," Trump stated. "He would go into these college campuses, into these bastions of liberal ideology and he would want to engage with people."

That's what got Kirk killed — he actually showed up to debate leftists on their own turf.

He didn't try to get anyone fired or expelled.

Kirk built Turning Point USA by doing what the Left can't stand — winning arguments with facts and logic instead of screaming and canceling people.

"He did it peacefully. He did it respectfully. He believed in America. He believed in God, in Jesus and there's nothing that he said or ever talked about with people that was outrageous," Trump continued.

Then she dropped the hammer on what Couric was really doing.

"But the idea that she was essentially trying to get validation from John Fetterman there for Charlie Kirk's murder is kind of outrageous," Trump said. "I don't even know what the point of any of that was, but it kind of goes back to how we got to this spot in the first place, where we saw a young father assassinated in cold blood."

There it is.

Couric was fishing for someone — anyone — to say Kirk deserved what happened to him.

She wanted a Democrat senator to validate the idea that Kirk's words justified his execution.

"It's because people continue to push this idea that somehow there's a problem with that and maybe action should be taken," Trump added. "That was really shameful and pretty disgraceful and disgusting."

The coordinated campaign to erase Charlie Kirk

This isn't just Katie Couric going rogue.

This is a coordinated effort by the media to rewrite what happened to Charlie Kirk and why.

The New York Times had to issue a correction on September 11th — just one day after his assassination — for falsely attributing an antisemitic statement to Kirk.¹

The paper claimed Kirk made the antisemitic remark when he was actually quoting someone else's social media post to criticize it.

"An earlier version of this article described incorrectly an antisemitic statement that Charlie Kirk had made on an episode of his podcast," the Times' correction stated. "He was quoting a statement from a post on social media and went on to critique it. It was not his own statement."¹

One day after his murder and they're already lying about him.

That tells you everything about what's happening here.

Journalists across the country deliberately misled their audiences about Kirk's views on race and sexuality in the hours after his death.

Some celebrated his assassination outright.

Multiple media figures and professors got fired for saying Kirk deserved to die.

Now Katie Couric is trying to launder that same disgusting narrative through a United States Senator.

She wants Americans to believe Kirk's words caused his own murder.

That's not journalism — that's accomplice work for terrorists.

President Trump has responded to Kirk's assassination by designating Antifa as a terrorist organization.

But the media keeps running interference for the killers by pretending Kirk was some kind of extremist who provoked his own execution.

Charlie Kirk believed in free speech.

He loved his country.

He wanted to engage with people who disagreed with him.

For that, a sniper murdered him in front of college students while he was giving a speech about the Constitution.

And Katie Couric thinks his rhetoric was the problem.

Every conservative paying attention knows exactly what's happening — the same media that spent years calling Trump supporters violent extremists is now justifying actual political assassinations.

They're telling Americans that if you say the wrong things, if you believe the wrong things, if you support the wrong candidates, then maybe you have it coming.
