Kash Patel shut down one weaponized FBI program that hit Democrats like a ton of bricks

The Biden administration turned America’s premier law enforcement agency into a political weapon.

But the days of weaponized government are coming to an end under President Trump.

And Kash Patel shut down one weaponized FBI program that hit Democrats like a ton of bricks.

FBI Director dismantles corrupt surveillance unit

FBI Director Kash Patel announced that he had completely dismantled the unit responsible for conducting surveillance operations against Republican senators during the Biden years.

The bombshell announcement sent shockwaves through Washington, D.C. as the full extent of Democrat Party spying operations finally came to light.

"They tracked the communications of GOP Senators. They weaponized law enforcement against the American people. That era is over," Patel wrote on X.

Patel didn’t just shut down the operation – he fired the corrupt agents involved and launched a full investigation into their activities.

"We fired those who acted unethically, dismantled the corrupt CR-15 squad, and launched an investigation," the FBI director added. "Transparency and accountability aren’t slogans, they’re promises kept."

The scope of Biden’s surveillance state exposed

The CR-15 unit operated as one of three federal public corruption squads out of the FBI’s Washington Field Office, but their real mission was far more sinister than fighting corruption.

These weren’t honest agents investigating actual crimes – they were political operatives using federal law enforcement powers to spy on duly elected Republican senators.

The CR-15 squad was reportedly shuttered by the Washington Field Office back in May, according to previous reports, with special agents assigned to the unit being reassigned as part of a broader reorganization.

But Patel’s announcement makes clear that he didn’t just reorganize – he fired the corrupt agents and completely dismantled their operation.

According to whistleblower disclosures revealed by Grassley, the FBI obtained the government cell phones of President Trump and former Vice President Mike Pence during the Arctic Frost investigation, with officials in Biden’s White House personally assisting the FBI in securing the phones.

The squad was also involved in the investigation and arrest of White House aide Peter Navarro, showing just how far the Biden administration was willing to go to persecute their political enemies.

Republican senators targeted by Biden’s political police

The full extent of the spying operation became clear on Monday when Senator Chuck Grassley released a September 27, 2023 FBI document that exposed the surveillance of nine sitting Republican lawmakers.

The FBI conducted "preliminary toll analysis on limited toll records" of these senators, which means they were tracking who these lawmakers called, when they called them, the duration of calls, and general location data.

The targets included Senators Lindsey Graham, Bill Hagerty, Josh Hawley, Dan Sullivan, Tommy Tuberville, Ron Johnson, Cynthia Lummis, and Marsha Blackburn, along with Representative Mike Kelly.

These weren’t random picks – every single one of these lawmakers had been vocal critics of Biden’s policies and supporters of President Trump.

The FBI collected the phone records in 2023 after Smith’s team subpoenaed telephone companies for data covering the period from January 4 through January 7, 2021 – the dates around the January 6 events.

This is what the deep state looks like in action

Look, this isn’t some conspiracy theory or wild speculation – this is documented government surveillance of elected officials who happened to be Republicans.

The FBI under Biden wasn’t investigating crimes – they were conducting political surveillance operations against the opposition party.

Think about what this means for a minute. The same people who spent years screaming about "threats to democracy" were literally using federal law enforcement to spy on senators from the other party.

And they did it all under the guise of investigating "election law matters" related to 2020, which tells you everything you need to know about their real priorities.

This is exactly what President Trump warned about when he talked about the deep state and the weaponization of government.

The bureaucrats and political appointees in Washington, D.C. decided they knew better than the American people who voted for these senators.

So they turned the FBI into their personal intelligence service to keep tabs on Republicans who might get in their way.

Kash Patel is cleaning house

Here’s the good news – President Trump put the right person in charge of the FBI to root out this corruption.

Kash Patel didn’t just issue some meaningless statement or promise to look into things later.

He fired the corrupt agents, shut down their operation, and launched investigations to hold them accountable.

That’s what real reform looks like, not the empty promises we got from previous administrations.

Senator Grassley put it perfectly when he said, "If heads don’t roll in this town, nothing changes."

Well, heads are finally rolling, and the corrupt agents who thought they could spy on senators without consequences are learning otherwise.

The American people deserve to know the full extent of how the Biden administration weaponized federal law enforcement against their political opponents.

And thanks to leaders like Kash Patel and Chuck Grassley, they’re finally going to get those answers.
