The FBI's Prohibited Access Files That Buried Biden Family Corruption
In January 2020, Attorney General Bill Barr tapped U.S. Attorney Scott Brady to vet mounting evidence of Biden family corruption in Ukraine.
Brady's team ran database searches on "Burisma," "Biden," every term that should have surfaced relevant leads. They found nothing alarming.
That wasn't an accident.
While Brady was following Barr's direct orders, FBI agents in the same Pittsburgh field office were running a secret operation code-named Round River – specifically designed to make sure Brady's team came up empty.
Evidence of Biden family crimes was buried in "prohibited access" files, a hidden feature of the FBI's Sentinel case management system that scrubbed those files from any database search results.
Brady later told The Federalist he had no idea the system could do that. Neither did senior DOJ officials.
Over 40 confidential human sources across multiple FBI field offices had provided criminal information on Joe Biden, James Biden, and Hunter Biden. Round River's job was to label those sources – and anyone else raising questions about the Bidens – as purveyors of Russian disinformation and kill every lead dead.
The agent who opened the assessment that made it all possible was FBI Supervisory Intelligence Analyst Brian Auten, operating out of FBI Headquarters, in August 2020.
How the FBI Weaponized Deep State Tactics to Protect Joe Biden
Senator Chuck Grassley has been chasing these leads for nearly ten years. His office received disclosures from multiple credible whistleblowers.
The Foreign Influence Task Force – the same unit communicating regularly with Twitter about supposed foreign disinformation – was the engine driving Round River.
They didn't just discredit Biden corruption allegations inside the FBI. They reached out to Big Tech platforms and primed them to treat any Biden story as a Russian operation.
Round River wasn't a rogue agent cutting corners. It was FBI Headquarters directing a field office, coordinating with a task force, and using a secret database feature to bury evidence from the Attorney General's own investigator.
The entire machine was pointed at one target: making sure the American people never found out what the Bidens had been doing in Ukraine.
It went even further than that. Sources told The Federalist that Round River expanded to target reporters, lawmakers, filmmakers, and lawyers who raised questions about the Bidens' Ukraine dealings – assessing them as potential national security threats aligned with Russia.
Exercising a First Amendment right to question a sitting vice president made Americans targets of a federal counterintelligence operation.
Round River is one of four code-named FBI counterintelligence operations now under Kash Patel's review – Crossfire Hurricane, Round River, Plasmic Echo, and Arctic Frost – stretching from 2016 to 2025.
Together they represent nearly a decade of the FBI running operations against Donald Trump and his allies while protecting the Biden family from the consequences of their own corruption.
Kash Patel and Grassley Are Now Turning Whistleblower Evidence Into Criminal Cases
The reason any of this is known is Chuck Grassley. The media spent years dismissing him as a crank chasing conspiracy theories. He wasn't chasing theories. He was chasing classified files that Kash Patel and Attorney General Pam Bondi are now finally handing over.
The prohibited access files former FBI Director Christopher Wray stonewalled for nine years are now being opened – and Patel is already building criminal cases from what's inside.
The deep state spent a decade hiding this.
Kash Patel is about to make sure they can't hide anymore.
