The media are trying to sell Kamala Harris as a moderate.
But she is a stone-cold San Francisco leftist.
And Harris threatened to put millions out of work if this one demand wasn’t met.
Kamala 2.0 is the same as Kamala 1.0
Democrat Party bosses metaphorically shoved Joe Biden out a skyscraper window because his poll numbers were too low.
Since then, Vice President Kamala Harris has been installed at the top of the ticket for the 2024 Presidential race.
Despite being the most unpopular Vice President ever, the Democrats and their media comrades are portraying her as a transcendent political figure.
But we’ve all seen this movie before.
Harris ran for President in 2020, and quickly flamed out in the primary; she dropped out before the Iowa Caucus.
One reason why Harris crashed and burned was because people realized she was truly a San Francisco liberal.
Now campaign staffers are reversing all of her radical positions to trick people into thinking she’s a moderate.
But as Harris showed in 2020, she favors wild-eyed leftist policies that are designed to line the pockets of the elites.
Harris promised to pull patents from companies that did not comply with her diktats.
Harris “play by our rules” or she’ll “snatch” property
During a 2019 campaign event, Harris told the crowd, “I will snatch their patent, so that we [the government] will take over. Yes, we can do that! . . . The question is do you have the will to do it? I have the will to do it!”

Harris was talking about prescription drug prices, threatening to pull patents if pharmaceutical companies did not charge “fair market” prices, which shows her ignorance on economics.
Harris said, “My plan as a candidate for president on the issue of drug prices is as follows: We are going to set drug prices based on fair market. So essentially what we’re going to do. . .is set drug prices so that American consumers are charged a price for drugs that is the average price that’s being charged around the globe.”
The rest of the globe freeloads off of America just like Kamala Harris’ pals at the big pharmaceutical companies want it.
They know if foreign countries were forced to pay based on “fair market,” their socialized health systems would collapse.
And they know there’s no threat of her supporting something that would actually lower drug prices like getting rid of Obamacare or ending government handouts in the name of healthcare.
So Americans are getting stuck with the bill.
Harris added, “If people don’t want to cooperate with that, I’m also going to do the next thing, which is this. A lot of drugs, prescription medication, was born out of federal funding for the research and development of that drug. Your taxpayer dollars. So for any drug where they failed to play by our rules, and if that drug came about because of federal funding for what’s called R&D, research and development, I will snatch their patent, so that we will take over.”
Let’s be clear: this is definitionally fascism.
What she means by “snatch” is take the patents and distribute the rights to her cronies.
And what she means by “play by our rules” is giving those patent holders a choice, either they rush to the market with a potentially dangerous or ineffective product or lose them.
The great irony of her proposal is that, on top of government artificially increasing demand with government handouts, the second biggest reason why some drugs are so expensive is because of the labyrinthine regulatory environment.
For example, coverage mandates don’t just require Americans to have insurance, they require that various policies pay for procedures and drugs not every patient needs, and they’re different in every single state.
Government regulation increases the cost of healthcare, and not just with prescription drugs.
The Democrats and the RINO establishment crowd all showed during COVID that they have zero interest in standing up to Big Pharma.
People should not be fooled.
Eventually, the American people will see just how she is on policy.
