A crazed leftist thought she could spit on a Trump official and walk away scot-free.
But her vile behavior didn’t stop there.
And Judge Jeanine Pirro made one explosive move that could send this unhinged leftist to jail.
Leftist activist can’t control herself after assault arrest
Emily Gabriella Sommer made national headlines back in May when she walked up to then-U.S. Attorney Ed Martin during a live television interview and spit directly on him.
The disgusting assault was caught on camera as Martin was speaking with Newsmax outside a Washington, D.C. courthouse.
“Are you Ed Martin? You are. Ed Martin,” Sommer said before lunging at Martin and spitting on his left shoulder.
After the attack, she walked away yelling, “You are a disgusting man. F*** you, Ed Martin. My name is Emily Gabriella Sommer, and you are served,” according to court papers.
Sommer was arrested on May 22 and charged with “assaulting, resisting, or impeding a government official.”
During her arrest, prosecutors said she also assaulted law enforcement officers who were taking her into custody.
Despite her violent behavior toward law enforcement, the court showed extraordinary leniency by releasing Sommer without bail on the same day she was arrested.
The conditions of her release specifically prohibited any contact with Martin, according to court documents.
But Sommer apparently couldn’t help herself from continuing her harassment campaign.
Sommer violates bail conditions with racist tirade
This week, Sommer took to social media platform X to launch another vicious attack on Martin.
Posting from her X handle with the display name “lefttits,” Sommer tagged Martin directly in a profanity-laden message filled with racial slurs.
“My property has essentially been seized and I do not have the basic necessities nor money to provide for myself nor my dog. F*** you, Ed… but since you’ve once again made me hostage in this city, I’ll make sure it eats you alive and spits you back out, like the felony ‘assault’ you’ve alleged, wit your punk-ass-b****-cuckold-neo-beo-no-brained-Neaderthal (no shade to actual non-Sapiens) cracka ass, jive-turkey redneck from the Midwest,” Sommer wrote.
She continued her unhinged rant, writing, “You mad, bro? You got fired, and then caught a loogie to the shoulder. I don’t think that makes you any sort of ‘active’ official. You’re in the wrong court… Come at me dawg.”
Sommer also targeted Jeanine Pirro, who replaced Martin as President Donald Trump’s U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia after it became clear the Senate would not confirm him.
“Lmaooooo @JudgeJeanine is the bish that took your job. That’s gotta hurt. And she’s got so much trash talk comin her way too, don’t worry bish, you’ll get it too,” Sommer wrote, according to court papers.
Pirro asks court to revoke Sommer’s release
Judge Jeanine Pirro wasn’t about to let this slide.
On Thursday, prosecutors asked Judge Matthew Sharbaugh to revoke the conditions of Sommer’s release, arguing that “there is clear and convincing evidence that the Defendant violated a condition of release.”
Pirro pointed out that by tagging Martin in her posts, Sommer’s messages “would likely cause the post to appear in the Notifications tab of the victim’s X account.”
“The posts, therefore, violated the Court’s order to ‘avoid all contact, directly or indirectly’ with the victim,” Pirro wrote in her filing.
Pirro argued that Sommer’s behavior shows she can’t be trusted to follow any conditions of release.
In their court filing, prosecutors argued that Sommer has shown a pattern of disregarding legal authority, from the original assault to attacking law enforcement during her arrest to now violating her release conditions.
Pattern of unhinged behavior continues
This isn’t the first time Sommer has used social media to brag about her assault on Martin.
Court papers show that hours after the initial attack, Sommer began replying to Martin’s tweets using her X account @EmilyGabriellaS.
Under one of Martin’s posts about making D.C. safe again, Sommer wrote a disturbing message taking credit for the assault.
“ED, that was me that spit in your face today in front of your not USDC for D.C. Courthouse, that absolutely definitely spit in your face on camera. Hi, hello. A pleasure to hawk a dehydrated, pithy white foam spit into your face. I only apologize that this city left me so dehydrated and unable to get water that I couldn’t produce more to stain and drip down your face,” she wrote.
The University of Southern California graduate is represented by a public defender and clearly has no intention of controlling her behavior despite facing serious criminal charges.
Her latest violation of the court’s order shows exactly why Judge Pirro is right to demand that Sommer be locked up.
When leftist activists think they can assault Trump officials and then continue harassing them while out on bail, it’s time for the justice system to step in and restore order.
Sommer’s racist tirade and continued harassment prove she poses a danger to the community and has no respect for the law or the court’s authority.
The case shows how the current U.S. Attorney for D.C. is taking a tougher stance against those who think they can intimidate Trump officials with impunity.
