John Fetterman has become one of the lone voices of sanity in the Democrat Party.
He’s not afraid to speak uncomfortable truths.
And John Fetterman spoke one damning fact about Democrats that Kamala Harris will hate.
Fetterman torches Harris for fascist rhetoric on Hannity
U.S. Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) delivered a harsh reality check to his own party during an appearance on Sean Hannity’s Fox News show.
Fetterman called out the exact moment Democrats "lost the plot" in the 2024 Election — when Kamala Harris branded President Donald Trump a "fascist."
"When Vice President Harris referred to President Trump as a ‘fascist’, and I knew absolutely we lost the plot at that point," Fetterman told Hannity.¹
The Pennsylvania Democrat explained why this rhetoric backfired so spectacularly.
"If you call the president or someone like a fascist, you are effectively calling the people who are going to vote for him [the same thing] and then they must be fascist too . . . or they support fascism and those things," Fetterman said.¹ "And that is just not true."
The Senator made clear he refuses to play that game.
"I happen to know and love a lot of people that voted for the president and they are not fascist, they are not Nazis, they’re not trying to destroy the constitution and all those things," Fetterman continued.¹ "They just happen to have different priorities and they love our country in the same ways that Democrats do as well."
Harris doubled down on the fascist label during a CNN town hall with Anderson Cooper in late October 2024.
When Cooper asked point-blank if she believed Trump was a fascist, Harris didn’t hesitate: "Yes, I do. Yes, I do."²
She went further during that same event, claiming Trump "admires dictators" and "is a fascist."²
Harris hasn’t let up even after her crushing defeat.
During her recent book tour, Harris ripped into the Trump Administration by shouting "These mothaf*ckas are crazy!"²
Fetterman pointed out that this kind of extreme rhetoric has real consequences.
The Senator connected Democrats’ inflammatory language to the September 10 assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University.
"That kind of extreme kinds of rhetoric makes it easier for those … extreme kinds of actions, even like what happened to poor Charlie Kirk," Fetterman said.³
Democrats’ Nazi playbook just got Charlie Kirk killed
Here’s what Democrats never understood: you can’t call 75 million Americans Nazis and expect them to vote for you.
Every time Harris screamed "fascist," she told Trump voters they were Hitler supporters. Every time Pritzker compared ICE agents to the Gestapo, he told border security supporters they backed genocide.
Democrats thought this strategy would terrify swing voters into their camp. Instead, it did the opposite — it made Trump voters dig in harder and swing voters tune out completely.
The pattern goes back years, always failing, always repeated.
After Trump called for a Muslim travel ban in late 2015, Republican and Democrat figures alike compared him to Hitler, including Conservative Glenn Beck, who called Trump "dangerous" and compared him to Hitler in 1929.⁶
House Democrats James Clyburn and Jerry Nadler both invoked Hitler’s actions in Germany to warn against Trump’s Presidency back in 2019.⁷
Former Vice President Al Gore quoted Nazis while attacking Trump at a Climate Week rally earlier this year, claiming Trump officials were trying to "convert all questions of truth into questions of power."⁸
But here’s what changed in 2024: Democrats went all-in on the Nazi comparison as their closing argument.
Harris made it the centerpiece of her final weeks. She called Trump a fascist on national television, compared him to Hitler in speeches, and had her surrogates flood cable news with Holocaust references.
Trump won by a landslide anyway.
Now Charlie Kirk is dead, and Democrats still don’t see the connection between their rhetoric and the bullet that killed him.
Fetterman does. That’s why he connected Democrats’ inflammatory language directly to Kirk’s assassination.
"That kind of extreme kinds of rhetoric makes it easier for those … extreme kinds of actions, even like what happened to poor Charlie Kirk," Fetterman said.³
When you spend years telling people the President is literally Hitler, eventually someone believes you and acts on it.
Democrats won’t admit that truth. Pritzker proved it just Tuesday by doubling down on Holocaust comparisons while Kirk’s family still grieves.
Fetterman represents Democrats’ last hope for sanity
Fetterman has emerged as one of the few Democrats willing to call out his party’s worst instincts.
The Pennsylvania Senator told Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo recently that he won’t be the Democrat who calls people "Nazis or fascists or all these kinds of things."⁹
"I happen to believe the truth, regardless if it’s the Republican or the Democratic voice," Fetterman said.⁹
But Fetterman also made clear he’s staying in the Democrat Party as an "independent voice."
"I’m not going to switch. I’m just going to be an independent voice in the Democratic Party," Fetterman told Bartiromo.⁹ "I’m not going to be afraid of people."
Fetterman grew up as the only Democrat in his family in a conservative part of Pennsylvania.
That background gives him a unique perspective Democrats desperately need.
"I’m the only Democrat in my family. I grew up in a conservative part of Pennsylvania," Fetterman explained.¹⁰ "I would never compare anybody, anybody to Hitler, and those things."
The Senator warned that "extreme rhetoric" makes it "more likely" there will be "extreme … outcomes and political violence."¹⁰
Fetterman showed genuine grief about Kirk’s death instead of exploiting it for political points.
"Let people grieve, give people the space. I’m not gonna use that terrible thing … to make my argument and try to put out my views," Fetterman said.¹⁰ "It’s like, my God, you know, he’s a father that had his neck blown out by a bullet."
This is the difference between Fetterman and the rest of his party.
He understands that real people died because of Democrat rhetoric. Harris and Pritzker see Kirk’s assassination as just another news cycle to exploit with more Hitler comparisons.
Democrats face a choice: listen to Fetterman and stop the Nazi rhetoric, or double down and watch more political violence unfold.
The Pritzker Holocaust comparisonshows which path they’re choosing.
Fetterman warned them. Voters rejected them in November. Charlie Kirk paid with his life.
Democrats learned nothing. And that means the violence they’re inciting isn’t over.
