Democrats are already trying to impeach Donald Trump again.
But this time, their efforts are so pathetic even liberal media hosts are mocking them.
And Jesse Watters destroyed this Democrat impeachment crusader with eight brutal words.
Fox News host refuses to dignify Democrat’s impeachment stunt
Fox News host Jesse Watters brutally dismissed the latest Democrat impeachment effort against President Donald Trump in a segment that left viewers cheering.
In a scathing takedown, Watters refused to even acknowledge Michigan Democrat Rep. Shri Thanedar by name after the congressman introduced articles of impeachment against President Trump on Monday.
“How about this impeachment guy, did you know this guy existed?” Watters asked his audience. “I cannot even say his name, I don’t want to say his name, it would be insulting to him for me to say his name out of respect.”
The Fox News host’s withering assessment perfectly captured what many Americans are thinking about this latest partisan attack against President Trump.
Democrat launches desperate impeachment bid just months into Trump’s term
The Michigan congressman’s impeachment crusade comes just three months into President Trump’s second term, showing the left still hasn’t learned any lessons from their failed impeachment attempts during his first presidency.
Thanedar, a 70-year-old representative who only became a U.S. citizen in 1988 and has represented Michigan in the House since 2021, accused the President of “high crimes and misdemeanors” across seven articles.
“Donald Trump has already done real damage to our democracy, but defying a unanimous 9-0 Supreme Court ruling has to be the final straw,” Thanedar declared during his announcement.
But as Watters’ comments demonstrate, this latest impeachment drive is being viewed as so insignificant that top media personalities won’t even dignify the congressman with name recognition.
Absurd accusations fall flat
The impeachment resolution launched by the Michigan Democrat contains seven articles that read like a progressive wish list rather than serious constitutional concerns.
Thanedar’s accusations include “obstruction of justice,” “abuse of executive power,” “taking away Congress’s power of the purse,” and even “tyrannical overreach.”
One of the most bizarre claims targets President Trump’s creation of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which Thanedar claims gives Elon Musk “unconstitutional power” over the government.
“Article five: Creation of an unlawful office. Establishing the so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and giving Elon Musk unconstitutional power over our government and personal data,” Thanedar stated.
The DOGE initiative has already saved American taxpayers billions of dollars by eliminating wasteful spending that accumulated during the Biden-Harris administration.
Media personalities tire of Democrats’ impeachment obsession
Watters’ refusal to name the Michigan congressman reflects growing frustration across the political spectrum with Democrats’ endless impeachment rhetoric.
This marks the third attempt by Democrats to impeach Donald Trump, following their failed efforts in 2019 and 2021.
In his segment, Watters connected the impeachment effort to broader Democratic obsessions, also mocking progressive claims about diversity initiatives, saying sarcastically, “The Roman empire would have survived if they had D.E.I.!”
The biting commentary highlights how even media figures are growing tired of Democrats’ inability to move beyond impeachment as a political strategy.
Trump continues delivering results while Democrats focus on stunts
While Democrats like Thanedar focus on political theater, President Trump continues implementing his agenda to secure the border, strengthen the economy, and restore America’s standing in the world.
In just three months, the Trump administration has made significant progress securing the border, cutting regulations, advancing American energy independence, and putting a stop to endless foreign wars.
The stark contrast between Democrats’ obsession with removing Trump and the President’s focus on delivering results for the American people hasn’t been lost on voters.
Republican leadership dismisses impeachment effort
House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) quickly dismissed Thanedar’s impeachment effort as political theater with no chance of success in the Republican-controlled House.
Republican leaders have consistently pointed out that the American people are tired of Democrats’ endless impeachment games, noting that voters sent President Trump back to the White House with a clear mandate to fix the mess left by the previous administration.
Several moderate Democrats have already distanced themselves from Thanedar’s impeachment push, recognizing it as a political liability heading into the 2026 Midterms.
Democrats keep playing from the same failed playbook
“This isn’t leadership, it’s tyranny. If we let this stand, we are saying the president is above the law, that the United States Constitution is optional,” Thanedar claimed in his announcement.
The Michigan Democrat’s rhetoric mirrors almost word-for-word the failed arguments Democrats used in previous impeachment attempts, suggesting they’ve run out of new ideas.
In both previous impeachment instances, Trump was ultimately acquitted by the Senate and emerged politically stronger following the partisan proceedings.
The American people have grown weary of these political stunts and increasingly see them for what they are – desperate attempts to reverse the results of the 2024 election that Democrats still haven’t accepted.
Watters’ refusal to even acknowledge Thanedar by name may be the clearest sign yet that the Democrats’ impeachment strategy has lost all credibility, even among media commentators.
