The radical Left has shown their true colors again and again.
But they keep finding new ways to shock decent Americans.
And Jasmine Crockett used two words to describe a murder victim that landed her in hot water.
Texas Democrat dismisses murdered girl as "random dead" person
Kayla Hamilton was just 20 years old when an illegal alien gang member brutally murdered her in Aberdeen, Maryland.
The autistic young woman became another victim of Joe Biden’s open border policies when 16-year-old Walter Javier Martinez from El Salvador took her life in July 2022.
But for Texas Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett, Hamilton isn’t a person whose life mattered.
She’s just a "random dead" person.
During a House Judiciary Committee markup meeting on Wednesday, Crockett exploded when Republicans discussed the Kayla Hamilton Act – legislation designed to prevent similar tragedies.
"I’m tired of y’all cherry-picking one horrible event! Because that’s what y’all do!" Crockett screamed at her Republican colleagues.
She was just getting warmed up.
"Y’all find one terrible situation that took place and then you say that person’s name and you wear it out and you make it political!" she continued her rant.
Then came the moment that should disgust every decent American.
"Stop just throwing a random dead person’s name on something for your own political expediency!" Crockett declared.
A "random dead person."
That’s how this Democrat describes a 20-year-old autistic woman who was murdered by someone who should never have been in this country.
The real story behind Kayla Hamilton’s preventable death
Here’s what Crockett doesn’t want you to know about this "random dead person."
Border Patrol caught Martinez in March 2022 – four months before he killed Kayla.
Instead of deporting him immediately, Biden’s Department of Health and Human Services took custody of the violent gang member and released him to a sponsor.
Nobody bothered to properly vet this dangerous teenager.
A House Judiciary Committee investigation later revealed the Biden administration "insufficiently vetted Kayla’s murderer and allowed him to enter the country."¹
The report found that Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and his department "missed key warning signs about the alien’s propensity for violence."²
In other words, this murder was completely preventable.
If the Biden administration had done its job, Kayla Hamilton would be alive today.
But for Crockett, pointing out these failures is just Republicans playing politics with a "random dead person."
Republican pushback exposes Democrat hypocrisy
South Carolina Rep. Russell Fry introduced the Kayla Hamilton Act in July to require HHS to determine "whether the UAC [unaccompanied alien children] poses a danger to themselves or the community" before placing them.³
It’s common-sense legislation designed to prevent future tragedies.
But Crockett thinks even mentioning Kayla’s name is exploiting her family.
"Stop playing these games and acting like you care about one particular situation," she ranted. "You take a situation and then you exploit what has happened to not only that person, but you exploit those families and you make it a game!"
Wait a minute.
Isn’t this the same Democrat Party that spent four years saying "Say Her Name" about every police incident?
Didn’t they turn George Floyd into a martyr and rename streets after him?
Don’t they constantly invoke the names of shooting victims to push gun control?
But when Republicans mention a young woman murdered by an illegal alien, suddenly that’s "exploiting" her memory.
Look, here’s what’s really happening
Crockett’s outburst tells you everything you need to know about the radical Left’s priorities.
They can’t defend Biden’s border policies because those policies got Kayla Hamilton killed.
So instead, they attack Republicans for caring about American victims.
You want to know what this really comes down to? Officials had one job – keep dangerous criminals out of American communities. They failed, and Kayla Hamilton paid with her life.
Kayla Hamilton wasn’t a "random dead person."
She was someone’s daughter.
She had autism and deserved protection from her own government, not bureaucratic incompetence.
One basic background check could have saved her life. Instead, officials rubber-stamped Martinez’s release and sent him straight into an American community.
Now Crockett wants to shut down any conversation about how this happened. Can’t have Republicans pointing out the obvious connection between failed border policies and dead Americans.
The Kayla Hamilton Act represents a chance to prevent future murders by requiring basic safety checks.
If Crockett thinks that’s too "political," maybe she should find another job.
Because protecting American lives isn’t politics – it’s the bare minimum we should expect from our government.
And calling murdered Americans "random dead" people shows exactly where this congresswoman’s heart really is.
