The FBI spent nearly five years investigating the January 6 pipe bomber.
They reviewed 39,000 video files, conducted over 1,000 interviews, and offered a $500,000 reward.
And January 6 Committee Chair exposed this crucial evidence the FBI wanted destroyed.
The surveillance footage that could crack the case wide open just vanished
House Republican-led Select Subcommittee on January 6 Chairman Barry Loudermilk just caught the FBI red-handed.
Critical surveillance footage from January 6 morning showing the areas around the RNC and DNC where pipe bombs were planted has completely disappeared.
"Unfortunately, that video apparently doesn't exist anymore," Loudermilk said. "We do have the January 5th video, but we've been told that no one ever preserved January 6th."
Let that sink in.
The FBI allegedly reviewed 39,000 video files hunting for the pipe bomber.
But the most important footage from the most critical locations just vanished into thin air.
You don't need to be a detective to smell a cover-up.
The FBI arrested 30-year-old Brian Cole Jr. earlier this month, charging him with planting pipe bombs outside both party headquarters on January 5, 2021.
The devices sat there for 16 hours before anyone discovered them around 1 p.m. on January 6.
Did someone return to those locations during those 16 hours?
The missing January 6 footage would answer that question.
Loudermilk won't outright accuse the FBI of destroying evidence, but he acknowledged the vanishing videos "does raise our eyebrows a bit."
FBI had cameras everywhere except where it mattered most
Wait, it gets worse.
Attorney General Pam Bondi claimed at Cole's arrest that "there was no new tip, there was no new witness, just good, diligent police work."
Loudermilk explained that Capitol Police cameras captured footage of walking paths the bomber used.
But cameras positioned directly behind the RNC and DNC headquarters – the closest angles to where bombs were placed – don't have footage from January 6.
"None of the camera angles, like behind the RNC, behind the DNC, that we know of that exists today of where this person would have been, had the closest angles," Loudermilk said.
Think about that.
You're investigating the biggest unsolved crime connected to January 6.
The bomber planted devices at two specific locations.
You have cameras covering those exact spots.
And the footage from the critical timeframe just disappeared.
This isn't incompetence – it's a cover-up.
The missing footage becomes even more damning when you look at how badly law enforcement screwed up that day.
Secret Service agents walked within feet of one pipe bomb at the DNC before Kamala Harris arrived.
At least ten agents and two K-9 units came within feet of the device and detected nothing.
After discovery, Capitol Police failed to secure the area.
More than 40 vehicles and 10 pedestrians breached the security perimeter around the DNC bomb while it was supposedly being investigated.
The missing surveillance footage would show exactly what happened during those crucial morning hours.
Who conducted security sweeps? Why did trained dogs miss the bombs? Did anyone check on the devices before they were "discovered"?
Americans will never know because the evidence conveniently vanished.
This is the same playbook the Democrat Party used to hide the truth about January 6
If this sounds familiar, that's because Nancy Pelosi's partisan January 6 Committee pulled the exact same stunt.
Loudermilk's investigation revealed the Democrat Party deleted or failed to archive more than one terabyte of data from their witch hunt investigation.
Former Chairman Bennie Thompson admitted his committee didn't preserve videotapes of witness interviews.
His excuse? "He didn't feel that they had to."
House rules explicitly require preserving any data used in official proceedings.
Thompson's committee aired witness testimony during their televised show trials, which meant they were required to keep all recordings.
Instead, every single videotape vanished.
Loudermilk discovered the cover-up when someone requested information from witness depositions.
"We started searching, and we had none," he explained.
See the pattern?
The Democrat Party investigates January 6, evidence disappears.
FBI investigates pipe bomber, critical footage disappears.
They're not even trying to hide it anymore.
Five years of failure under Biden suddenly becomes a solved case under Trump
The FBI had nearly five years to crack this case under the Biden administration.
They made exactly zero arrests.
President Trump returns to office, Republicans start demanding answers about missing evidence, and suddenly the FBI rushes to announce they caught the bomber.
FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino previously questioned whether the pipe bomb case was an "inside job."
Now he claims a breakthrough in "forensic evidence" led to Cole's arrest.
But they won't explain what that breakthrough was or why it took five years to find it.
Here's what investigators say they used to identify Cole: cell phone data showing his phone near the RNC and DNC when bombs were placed, credit card purchases matching bomb components, and license plate readers capturing his vehicle in the area.
All of that evidence existed on day one.
The FBI had access to cell tower data, credit card records, and surveillance footage from January 6, 2021.
Yet it took them until December 2025 to connect dots that any competent investigator should have connected in weeks.
The only thing that changed was who occupied the White House.
Under Biden, the FBI slow-walked the investigation while destroying evidence.
Under Trump, they scrambled to make an arrest before Republican investigators exposed the entire cover-up.
You were right to be suspicious.
You were right to question the official narrative.
You were right to believe federal law enforcement was hiding something about January 6.
Barry Loudermilk just proved it.
The FBI and the Democrat Party don't want you to know the full truth about what happened that day.
For years, they destroyed evidence while blocking every attempt at transparency.
Trump's back in office now, and real investigators are asking questions the FBI can't dodge anymore.
