Tulsi Gabbard is on a secret government watchlist
Former Representative Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) has been an outspoken critic of Vice President Kamala Harris since they clashed in the 2020 Democrat Presidential Primary debates.
Gabbard – now an independent who is helping prep Donald Trump to trounce Kamala Harris in their debate – appeared on Fox News where she criticized President Joe Biden and Kamala in July.
Uncover DC reported the next day that she was added to the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) Quiet Skies program.
This is a secretive program that’s used to monitor potential domestic terrorist threats when they fly.
Air marshals reportedly accompany her on every flight now.
Whistleblowers came forward to say that Gabbard’s addition to the list was politically motivated.
She and her husband noticed that their boarding passes were marked “SSSS” which subjects them to more strenuous security screenings.
“This is only the information that we know,” Gabbard told Fox News. “Obviously, I experienced a significant change in my travel when all of this began on July 23.”
She worried that Quiet Skies could only be the tip of the iceberg of the government’s surveillance of her.
“My real question is, what don’t I know?” Gabbard continued. “This is the real pain and stress that’s been caused both to me and my family by this whole situation, day and night wondering if and what government institution and agency is monitoring my phone calls, surveilling me in my movement in my travels, knowing that they may be looking for some kind of excuse or derogatory action to come after me.”
James Comer demands answers from TSA
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) sent a letter to TSA Administrator David Pekoske about Gabbard’s inclusion in the Quiet Skies program.
Comer mentioned that the whistleblowers in the agency who’ve come forward have been targeted for retaliation.
“I write with deep concern that Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officials are continuing a pattern of retaliation against whistleblowers attempting to expose waste and abuse at the agency,” Comer wrote.
“Most recently, Federal Air Marshals Service (FAMS) employees made protected whistleblower disclosures revealing that FAMS wasted resources and abused its authority by assigning air marshals to surveil the spouse of a Federal Air Marshal and a former U.S. Member of Congress, Tulsi Gabbard,” Comer added.
The Air Marshal who came forward as a whistleblower had his wife placed in the Quiet Skies program.
“It is alarming that TSA is wasting its resources to surveil an air marshal’s wife and Ms. Gabbard — a high-profile, American public figure — when the threat of terrorist attacks on the United States is high. The threat of terrorism on the homeland has, according to Federal Bureau of Investigation Director Christopher Wray, ‘rise[n] to a whole ‘nother level after October 7,’” Comer stated.
Comer asked for the TSA to turn over documents and communications related to Gabbard and the implementation of the Quiet Skies program.
The weaponization of the government by the Biden-Harris administration shows no signs of slowing down.
