Elon Musk has emerged as one of the most important people in the Trump administration.
He’s dealt with controversy trying to audit the federal government.
And J.D. Vance shut down one big rumor about Elon Musk that left Laura Ingraham flabbergasted.
The media pushes a rumor that Trump’s cabinet is unhappy with Elon Musk
SpaceX CEO Elon Musk and his work with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is one of the big stories of the first two months of Donald Trump’s Presidency.
DOGE has shaken things up in the Washington, D.C., Swamp by exposing wasteful spending and making cuts to government.
The media has put a bullseye on Musk for trying to drain the Swamp.
A report in the New York Times claimed that Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Musk got into an argument about firing employees at the State Department.
The media has run stories using anonymous sources that claim that Trump’s cabinet secretaries are upset with Musk and the power that DOGE wields in the administration.
Trump denied that there was any tension between Musk and Rubio and that the pair got along great.
Musk and Trump admitted in a joint interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity that there’s an obvious attempt in the media to drive a wedge between them.
Democrats and their media allies are desperate to see DOGE and Trump fail in their pursuit of reshaping Washington, D.C.
J.D. Vance addresses rumors of tension over Elon Musk
Fox News host Laura Ingraham asked Vice President J.D. Vance about the alleged “tension” between DOGE and Trump’s cabinet in an interview.
Vance shot down the fake news reporting from the media about the administration.
“I don’t think there’s tension. There’s certainly disagreement from time to time,” Vance explained. “We’re not going to agree on every single issue within an administration, but the President has been very clear. Elon’s doing a great job, and obviously we appreciate what he’s doing. Marco, I think, is doing an incredible job as secretary of State.”
Vance pointed out that members of the administration having a disagreement is a normal part of the governing process.
“I had high expectations. I think he’s actually exceeded those expectations. So the fact that you have a disagreement at a meeting, that does not mean that you have misalignment,” Vance said. “It just means that you’ve got to talk about this stuff.”
The Vice President took a shot at former President Joe Biden when former First Lady Jill Biden led his final cabinet meeting last year.
“We’re not going to have an administration where you have a president who sits there at cabinet meetings asleep while his wife runs the cabinet meeting and nobody’s doing anything. We’re going to talk about issues,” Vance stated. “It does annoy me that that leaked. I will say that story wasn’t totally true, to be clear.”
“We need to have conversations. We need to be able to talk to one another and solve this stuff without some random staffer leaking it,” Vance added. “I suspect that’s what happened. We’re going to keep on doing the president’s business because it’s the American people’s business.”
The media is trying to manufacture a controversy to create divisions in the Trump administration.
