You read that right – this woman was sporting luxury eyewear that costs more than most Americans make in a week while telling them capitalism is evil.

Omar and her husband struck it rich through California wine business
You want to know how Omar went from broke to millionaire?
She became a venture capitalist.
The woman who spent years attacking American business owners teamed up with her third husband Tim Mynett to launch Rose Lake Capital in Washington, D.C.
The company’s assets jumped from $1,000 to somewhere between $5 million and $25 million by the end of 2024.
But wait, it gets better.
Omar and Mynett also own a piece of a California winery that sells bottles for $73 each and cans of sparkling rosé for $20 a pop.
Not exactly the working-class beverage of choice, is it?
These aren’t being sold at your neighborhood grocery store either – they’re available at boutique markets along the West Coast for wealthy progressives with more money than sense.
So let me get this straight – the woman who wants to redistribute your wealth is now selling overpriced wine to rich liberals in California.
The irony would be hilarious if it wasn’t so disgusting.
House Majority Whip Tom Emmer from Minnesota put it perfectly when he told the New York Post: "At least now we have an explanation for why she’s so out of touch with the priorities of hardworking, everyday Minnesotans."
"Ilhan Omar is as disingenuous as they come," Emmer said. "She promotes socialist policies while cashing in a taxpayer-funded paycheck and sitting on tens of millions of dollars."
Omar’s business partners read like a Democrat Party phone book
Here’s what should really make you furious about this whole setup.
Omar owes her sudden windfall to a cast of former liberal diplomats and Democrat Party operatives with "deep global networks."
Her husband Mynett partnered with longtime Dem operative Will Hailer to form Rose Lake Capital.
The other partners include former Obama Ambassador to China Max Baucus, former Obama Ambassador to Bahrain Adam Ereli, former Democratic National Committee treasurer William Derrough, and former union boss Keith Mestrich.
Mestrich once described his bank as "the institutional bank of the Democrat Party."
This isn’t some grassroots success story – it’s an old boys’ network of Democrat insiders helping each other get rich.
And they’re using Omar’s position in Congress to grease the wheels.
Remember, Omar paid Mynett’s political consultancy at least $2.8 million when she ran for Congress in 2018.
A complaint to the Federal Election Commission alleged some of those funds were misused for personal and romantic expenditures – including trips to California wine country.
The same wine country where they now own part of a vineyard.
Florida Republican Congressman Randy Fine had the perfect response when the Post asked him about Omar’s capitalist conversion.
"Ilhan Omar has spent years in Congress telling us how great socialism would be in America," Fine said. "Maybe she should live her principles and redistribute her wealth back to that Third World country she came from."
The woman who hates white men owes her fortune to white men
Here’s the most delicious irony of all.
Omar once declared that America should be "fearful" of white men.
But guess who she owes her sudden windfall to? Her white husband and a bunch of white Democrat operatives.
Mynett cheated on his wife of seven years to be with Omar, according to divorce filings.
He came home one night in April 2019 to announce he was in love with the congresswoman – and, heartbreakingly, that he had never loved his then-wife, mother of their 13-year-old son, according to the court filings.
Around the time Mynett began the affair, he was "broke" and his business was "floundering," according to court documents.
Now he’s a millionaire thanks to marrying his boss and cashing in on her political connections.
Mynett even converted to Islam to become Omar’s third husband.
Talk about commitment to the grift.
The guy has also been sued for fraud by former business associates, though he settled out of court.
Three companies owned by Mynett and his partner agreed to pay South Dakota marijuana growers $1.7 million to settle fraud and breach of contract allegations.
This is the caliber of people Omar surrounds herself with.
Omar’s lifestyle exposes the Democrat Party’s biggest lie
Look, here’s what this story really reveals about the modern Democrat Party.
They don’t actually believe any of the garbage they’re selling you.
Omar talks about Marxism and socialism while living like a capitalist queen.
She attacks American businesses while running her own venture capital firm.
She lectures working families about inequality while buying $500 sunglasses and $73 bottles of wine.
This woman represents everything wrong with today’s political class.
They want power over you, not equality with you.
They want to control your economic choices while expanding their own.
They want to redistribute your wealth while protecting their own fortunes.
The Squad isn’t fighting for working Americans – they’re getting rich off working Americans while pretending to care about their struggles.
Omar’s transformation from capitalist-hating activist to Marxist millionaire sporting Jimmy Choos isn’t an accident.
It’s the natural result of a political system that rewards hypocrisy and punishes honesty.
White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson had the right idea when she told the Post: "Ilhan Omar should use her newfound wealth to invest in a treatment plan to cure her Trump Derangement Syndrome."
But Omar won’t change because this system works perfectly for her.
She gets to feel morally superior while living better than the people she claims to represent.
She gets to attack capitalism while benefiting from it.
She gets to preach about inequality while creating more of it.
That’s the real Democrat Party in 2025 – champagne socialists who want socialism for you and capitalism for them.
