Fox News host Greg Gutfeld torched Democrats during a broadcast of The Five over their latest manufactured scandal against Trump.
This time Democrats were shrieking about military strikes on drug-smuggling boats in the Caribbean.
The usual suspects immediately condemned Trump's operations as potential "war crimes" before they knew a single fact.
Gutfeld saw right through it.
"I do not believe anybody that is shouting right now actually cares about those people," Gutfeld said.¹
Where was all this concern when these same gangs were operating on American soil?
"They didn't care about the gangs when they were here. They didn't care about the women being trafficked, or the kids being attacked, or the rapes," Gutfeld explained.¹
Democrats ignored the border crisis for four years while fentanyl flooded across and gang violence exploded in American cities.
Now they're suddenly weeping over terrorists who smuggle the poison that kills 100,000 Americans every year?
"They only care about victims when it becomes political, expedient, when they see an election approaching," Gutfeld stated.¹
Gutfeld drops the truth bomb Democrats can't handle
Then Gutfeld delivered the line that perfectly captures what millions of conservatives learned the hard way.
"If you have not developed the hoax instinct after the last 10 years and your reflex is still to say, wow, this sounds really bad, you need a reverse lobotomy," Gutfeld declared.¹
That's it. That's the lesson.

When a story damages Trump, the media treats it as "fully realized, structurally sound, a seasoned oak of facts," even when it's built on anonymous sources and obvious lies.¹
Meanwhile, real scandals get buried for years.
"The Minneapolis corruption scheme has been emerging for three years. We were screaming about the border for four. We were talking about the trans issue. Nobody was listening," Gutfeld pointed out.¹
The boat strike "scandal" followed the exact same tired pattern.
"This story was so flimsy. Even Mark Kelly was reluctant to say it was a crime because he knew what he was going to say was a matter of opinion in a gray area," Gutfeld explained.¹
Arizona Democrat Senator Mark Kelly tried drumming up outrage on MS-NOW's Morning Joe but couldn't actually call Trump's strikes illegal.
Because they're not. Trump designated these cartels as Foreign Terrorist Organizations specifically to enable these operations under the law.

Gutfeld then explained the brutal reality Democrats won't admit.
Drug traffickers smuggling fentanyl into America are using weapons of mass destruction.
That poison killed more than 107,000 Americans last year – more than died in the Vietnam War, Korean War, and Iraq War combined.
"From a common-sense perspective, it'd be great to kill a terrorist while he's terrorizing. But what are the odds of that?" Gutfeld asked. "He's either running to terrorize or running away from terrorizing."¹
"The process of enacting terror still makes you a terrorist, still makes you worthy of death, especially if you're dealing with weapons of mass destruction, the way drugs are," Gutfeld argued.¹
These cartels torture, maim, and murder with impunity.
Tren de Aragua gang members are butchering people in Aurora, Colorado and apartment complexes across America.
So why not capture them and bring them to trial?
Gutfeld destroyed that fantasy with one question.
"Can we trust that they will be treated as a captured terrorist?" Gutfeld asked.¹
Look at what Democrats do with violent criminals in their sanctuary cities.
"We can't trust criminals in your hands. Our New York government released 7,000 criminals into the city. 7,000," Gutfeld said.¹
New York released thousands of dangerous criminals under bail "reform" pushed by radical Democrats.
Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco do the same thing every single day.
"We can't trust you with terrorists, so it's just better for us to kill them in the ocean, make them shark feed, be done with it," Gutfeld concluded.¹
That's not cruelty. That's protecting American lives from an enemy that shows zero mercy.
Trump's aggressive approach to destroying drug cartel operations is exactly what voters demanded.
Democrats manufacturing another fake scandal won't change that mandate.
Gutfeld's warning about developing a "hoax instinct" is the survival guide conservatives need for Trump's entire second term.
Democrats aren't going to stop lying. They'll manufacture crisis after crisis, hoping one finally sticks.
