Fani Willis had an ugly meltdown when Georgia lawmakers dropped one document on her

Fani Willis turned Fulton County into her personal political weapon against Donald Trump.

The whole operation came crashing down when her affair with the prosecutor she was paying got exposed.

And Fani Willis had an ugly meltdown when Georgia lawmakers dropped one document on her.

One payment voucher exposes Willis paying her boyfriend from criminals' seized cash

State Senator Greg Dolezal slid a payment voucher across the table that blew up everything Fani Willis claimed about how she paid Nathan Wade.

The document showed Wade got his money from Fulton County's forfeiture fund — cash and property seized from actual criminals — not the professional services budget Willis swore she used.¹

Willis looked at it for the first time on camera and immediately lost it.

"I don't review those documents," she snapped. "So you're asking me to look at documents that I haven't for the first time."²

That's her defense? The district attorney doesn't know where $654,000 went to pay her boyfriend?

She launched into a screaming defense of Wade that would make any high school guidance counselor cringe.

"What I can tell you is that I allowed Mr. Wade to bill 160 hours a week and then Mr. Wade would be the first one in the office making sure that my staff arrived," Willis declared while the Senate committee sat there stunned. "He got there before them. He left after him."³

Nobody asked about Wade's punctuality.

They asked why she paid him more than $650,000 while he was flying her to San Francisco and Miami, taking her on Caribbean cruises, and booking luxury trips to Napa Valley — all on the taxpayers' dime.⁴

Wade's credit card statements showed he booked the tickets. Willis just showed up with her bags packed.⁵

The Senate committee cut her microphone when she refused to stop talking over them.⁶

That's when she went for the race card.

"You want something to investigate as a legislature?" Willis shouted. "Investigate how many times they've called me the N-word."⁷

Willis can't answer basic questions about the case that consumed her office

The three-hour disaster exposed Willis as either completely incompetent or deliberately lying about nearly every aspect of the Trump prosecution.

She couldn't remember how much Fulton County spent on the case.

She had no idea Wade was paid from the forfeiture fund.

She insisted she didn't hire Wade to prosecute RICO charges even though RICO was the entire foundation of her indictment.⁸

Here's what Willis wants everyone to believe: She hired her boyfriend to a $250-per-hour job prosecuting the former President, let him bill taxpayers more than $650,000, went on multiple luxury vacations with him, and somehow never looked at a single payment voucher.

Does she think voters are idiots?

The Senate committee wanted answers about Wade's trips to Washington, D.C. to coordinate with the Biden White House and the partisan January 6 Committee.⁹

Willis waved it off like she was discussing the weather.

Wade probably went to "get information on some of the criminals I ended up indicting," she said.¹⁰

Criminals like the former President who just won a landslide election?

Her own attorney, former Georgia Governor Roy Barnes, called the hearing a "witch hunt" while Willis melted down on live television proving exactly why the investigation was necessary.¹¹

This is what happens when prosecutors think they're above the law

Willis turned the Fulton County District Attorney's office into her personal ATM to fund a romantic getaway tour with Nathan Wade.

Luxury vacations while claiming she was serving justice.¹²

The Georgia Court of Appeals tossed her off the case in December for creating an "appearance of impropriety" that destroyed public confidence.¹³

Willis' replacement took one look at the charges last month and told the judge they weren't worth prosecuting.¹⁴

Judge Scott McAfee threw out the entire indictment.

Three years of lawfare. Millions in taxpayer dollars. All so Fani Willis could cash checks for her boyfriend and take luxury vacations on the public dime.

Four Republican senators on the committee are running for statewide office in 2026, and every single one just got their best campaign footage watching Willis scream at them, play the race card, and refuse to explain where $654,000 went.¹⁵

Chairman Bill Cowsert is running for Attorney General. Georgia voters will be reminded about this hearing in every ad.

The committee will issue recommendations for new laws to stop rogue prosecutors from abusing their offices like Willis did.

But the real accountability comes from voters.

Willis weaponized her office for political revenge and personal profit.

Wednesday's meltdown showed Georgia exactly who she is — a corrupt prosecutor who thought she was untouchable.
