But Facebook got caught censoring one damning fact about Black Lives Matter from the public.
Zuckerberg protects BLM grifters while claiming he changed
Here's what makes this so infuriating.
The Department of Justice just launched a criminal investigation into whether Black Lives Matter leaders defrauded donors out of tens of millions of dollars during the 2020 George Floyd riots.¹
Federal law enforcement hit BLM's leadership with subpoenas and at least one search warrant.²
And when users tried sharing The New York Post's original 2021 investigation that exposed this entire scam four years ago, Facebook blocked it.
Users got slammed with an error message: "You can't share this link… Your comment couldn't be shared, because this link goes against our Community Standards."³
Let that sink in.
Facebook censored the investigative journalism that warned Americans about BLM's corruption years before the feds finally caught on.
The Post broke the story in April 2021 when BLM co-founder Patrisse Cullors — a self-described Marxist — went on a $3.2 million real estate buying spree.⁴
Four luxury homes across Georgia and California.
This woman preached about fighting capitalism while living like a real estate mogul.
Cullors bought a $1.4 million home in Topanga Canyon near Malibu and a custom ranch in Georgia with a private airplane hangar.⁵
About a month after The Post exposed her empire, Cullors resigned from BLM's leadership.⁶
She's always claimed she didn't use donor money for her shopping spree, but nobody's buying that story anymore.
The DOJ investigation confirms what The Post exposed years ago
BLM raked in more than $90 million in donations after George Floyd's death.⁷
Corporations and left-wing donors opened their wallets while American cities burned.
The group promised to fight for racial justice and build stronger black communities.
Instead, BLM leaders bought themselves a $6 million Los Angeles mansion with six bedrooms and bathrooms.⁸
Cullors later admitted she hosted personal parties at that donor-funded mansion — including her son's birthday party and a celebration for Joe Biden's inauguration.⁹
She used money donated by grieving Americans to throw parties for Democrat politicians.
The National Legal and Policy Center filed an IRS complaint seeking criminal penalties against Cullors for her "highly unusual" use of the mansion.¹⁰
Now federal prosecutors are investigating whether BLM leaders turned the George Floyd tragedy into their personal ATM.
Sources told Fox News the investigation began during the Biden administration but is getting renewed attention under President Trump.¹¹
Democrats protected these grifters for years.
Trump's Justice Department is finally holding them accountable.
Facebook's censorship follows the exact same playbook
Meta finally fixed the censorship problem Friday evening after The Post made them aware of it.¹²
But the damage was done.
For hours, Facebook prevented Americans from reading the original reporting that exposed BLM's corruption while the DOJ investigation was breaking news.
This is the exact playbook Facebook used to protect Hunter Biden in October 2020.
The Post published bombshell reporting about Hunter's overseas business dealings and laptop three weeks before the 2020 election.
Facebook censored it for a full week while they supposedly "fact-checked" it.¹³
Zuckerberg later admitted the FBI warned Facebook to expect Russian disinformation right before the election, and Facebook decided The Post's reporting "fit that pattern."¹⁴
But here's the smoking gun.
Internal Facebook communications obtained by Congress showed executives weren't worried about truth or Russian disinformation.
They were worried about their relationship with an incoming Biden administration.
"Obviously, our calls on this could colour the way an incoming Biden administration views us more than almost anything else," Facebook's then-vice president Nick Clegg wrote.¹⁵
Translation: censor this story or Biden will make our lives miserable.
The laptop story turned out to be completely authentic.
Multiple major news outlets confirmed it after Biden won.
But Facebook's censorship kept millions of voters in the dark about Biden family corruption right before they went to the polls.
The FBI spent an entire year preparing social media companies to censor the Hunter Biden story — meeting with platforms over 30 times starting in early 2020.¹⁶
FBI agents knew the laptop was real the entire time but refused to tell Facebook and Twitter when they asked directly.¹⁷
They let these companies censor true reporting about massive corruption because it helped Joe Biden win.
The broken promises pile up while censorship continues
Zuckerberg wrote Congress a letter last year admitting Facebook was wrong.¹⁸
He said the Biden administration pressured Facebook to censor content, including the laptop story.
"I believe the government pressure was wrong, and I regret that we were not more outspoken about it," Zuckerberg wrote, promising to "do things differently in the future."¹⁹
What a joke.
Facebook is still playing the same games — protecting Democrats' favorite activist groups while pretending to support free speech.
The pattern is undeniable.
Facebook censored reporting about Hunter Biden's corruption to help Joe Biden win in 2020.
Now Facebook is censoring reporting about BLM's corruption while federal prosecutors investigate their fraud.
Every single time, Facebook protects the Left's sacred cows.
Think about what BLM actually did.
They turned George Floyd's murder into a $90 million fundraising bonanza.
Then BLM's Marxist leadership bought themselves mansions and threw parties while inner cities continued drowning in crime and poverty.
These grifters spent years lecturing Americans about systemic racism and white privilege while they lived better than 99% of the country.
And Facebook is still running interference for them.
Zuckerberg can apologize all day about his past censorship.
His actions prove nothing has changed.
Facebook will keep protecting Democrat corruption and left-wing grifters no matter what promises Zuckerberg makes to Congress.
The only thing that's changed is now we see the pattern crystal clear.
