President Trump just picked the biggest fight of his political career.

There was one clear winner.

And Donald Trump made one bold move that left this adversary humiliated in defeat.

President Trump uses tariffs to isolate Communist China

President Trump roiled the globalists and Wall Street with an announcement of reciprocal tariffs on every country that traded with the United States as well as a 10 percent universal tariff on all goods imported into America.

Communist China announced 50 percent retaliatory tariffs on U.S. goods.

The Chinese were the only country to respond to Trump’s tariffs with tariffs over their own.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent warned other countries that retaliatory tariffs would only bring more pain.

More than 70 countries wisely begged the White House to negotiate.

Both Trump and Secretary Bessent warned China that they held a losing hand.

Trump showed just how little cars China held when he imposed 125 percent tariffs on all goods from Communist China.

“Based on the lack of respect that China has shown to the World’s Markets, I am hereby raising the Tariff charged to China by the United States of America to 125%, effective immediately. At some point, hopefully in the near future, China will realize that the days of ripping off the U.S.A., and other Countries, is no longer sustainable or acceptable,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Trump also announced a 90-day pause on tariffs from every country that didn’t retaliate and instead sought to enter into negotiations with the United States on deals that would result in fair trade that benefited American workers,

“Conversely, and based on the fact that more than 75 Countries have called Representatives of the United States, including the Departments of Commerce, Treasury, and the USTR, to negotiate a solution to the subjects being discussed relative to Trade, Trade Barriers, Tariffs, Currency Manipulation, and Non Monetary Tariffs, and that these Countries have not, at my strong suggestion, retaliated in any way, shape, or form against the United States, I have authorized a 90 day PAUSE, and a substantially lowered Reciprocal Tariff during this period, of 10%, also effective immediately. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” Trump concluded.

The stock market soared in response, rising 2,900 points – one of the four biggest single day gains since World War II.

Communist China was now isolated

India, a key counterweight to China in the Asia region, announced that both its and the U.S. manufacturers suffered from unfair Chinese trade practices.

“INDIA TRADE MINISTER TO CNN-NEWS18: INDIA, U.S. MANUFACTURERS HAVE SUFFERED FROM CHINA’S UNFAIR TRADE PRACTICES,” the First Squawk X account wrote on social media.

Bessent announced that South Korea, Japan, India, and Vietnam were the first countries to get appointments for negotiations with the United States.

That was no accident as drawing those countries closer to the United States economically would create an Indo-Pacific alliance that could assist the United States in deterring Communist China from invading Taiwan and kicking off World War III.
