Many Americans can remember where they were on July 13, when the news broke about the attempted assassination on Donald Trump.
Years of hateful rhetoric from Democrats regarding Donald Trump and the millions of Americans who support him created an environment for such an attack to occur, at the very least.
Just days prior, President Joe Biden even told his supporters to put a bull’s-eye on Donald Trump, and unfortunately, a troubled and mysterious young man in Butler, Pennsylvania, took his advice.
Ever since, some elected officials and investigators in Washington, D.C. have attempted to get to the bottom of this horrifying assassination attempt.
However, things tend to move rather slowly in Washington, D.C. without outside pressure.
Radio talk show host and former Secret Service Agent Dan Bongino, for example, has devoted significant time and resources towards looking into the events of July 13.
As a former Secret Service agent, Bongino knows an awful lot about how this agency operates, and just the other day he reached a conclusion that should send chills down the spines of every American.
During a recent discussion with Congressman Eli Crane (R-AZ), Bongino claimed that the Secret Service is even worse off following the resignation of former director Kimberly Cheatle.
Bongino noted that allowing Cheatle to resign rather than firing her opened the door for her deputy director, Ronald L. Rowe Jr., to seize control of the Secret Service, when Rowe was already overseeing much of the day-to-day control on a system that failed so miserably.
Under Rowe’s direction, Bongino believes that another security failure could happen at any moment, telling Congressman Crane, “If you think this is the last incident, you’re out of your mind.”
He added that Rowe’s priorities are completely out of whack, claiming that Secret Service whistleblowers told him that on one occasion, “(Rowe) was concerned about the tie color of the agents on the detail because it seemed to imply they supported President Trump. This is the kind of stuff the Secret Service was actually wasting their time with.”
“Woke” politics has eroded nearly every institution in Washington, D.C.
Rather than finding the best people for the many federal jobs in Washington, many Washington elites have filled these positions with under qualified political activists.
The example that Dan Bongino provided of then deputy Secret Service director Ronald Rowe worrying about tie colors demonstrates the lack of structure and seriousness within the Secret Service and other agencies.
As Bongino noted, another security breach could happen at any moment, which could change America as you know it.
