Democrats are pulling out all the stops to undermine immigration enforcement.

One California politician crossed a dangerous line.

And a California Democrat got slammed by the DOJ after this insane attack on ICE agents.

Wiener’s reckless gamble with officer safety

State Senator Scott Wiener thinks he’s found the perfect weapon against Trump’s immigration enforcement.

His Senate Bill 627 would force every law enforcement officer in California to show their face while on duty.

The timing couldn’t be more calculated.

As ICE operations ramp up across the Golden State, Wiener wants to make sure every agent can be identified, photographed, and targeted by the angry mobs protesting in sanctuary cities.

"We’re announcing new legislation — the No Secret Police Act (SB 627) — to ban local/state/federal law enforcement, w/ some exceptions, from covering their faces when interacting w/ the public & require them to wear identifying info," Wiener announced on X.

The San Francisco politician painted a dystopian picture of American law enforcement.

"We’re seeing the rise of secret police — masked, no identifying info, even wearing army fatigues — grabbing & disappearing people," he claimed. "It’s antithetical to democracy & harms communities. The No Secret Police Act can help end the fear & chaos this behavior creates in communities."

What Wiener won’t admit is that officers aren’t hiding from accountability.

They’re hiding from assassination attempts.

Trump’s top lawyer delivers crushing blow

Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon didn’t waste time schooling Wiener on basic constitutional law.

Her response on X was swift and brutal.

"Scott, go check with a lawyer if this is a thing, and get back to us. (Hint — it isn’t— states can’t regulate what federal law enforcement wears)," Dhillon posted.

The legal smackdown exposed the fundamental flaw in Wiener’s grandstanding.

Under the Supremacy Clause, federal law trumps state law when there’s a conflict.

States can’t dictate the uniform requirements or operational procedures of federal agencies.

This isn’t some obscure legal technicality that Wiener might have overlooked.

It’s Constitutional Law 101.

Either Wiener doesn’t understand how federalism works, or he’s deliberately pushing unconstitutional legislation for political theater.

Given his track record, smart money is on the latter.

The real story behind the masks

While Wiener plays political games, ICE agents are dealing with a nightmare scenario.

Department of Homeland Security spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin revealed the disturbing reality these officers face every day.

"Sen. Scott Wiener’s proposed legislation banning our federal law enforcement from wearing masks and his rhetoric comparing ICE to ‘secret police’—likening them to the Gestapo—is despicable," McLaughlin told Fox News Digital.

The numbers tell a chilling story.

ICE agents are experiencing a 413 percent spike in violent assaults.

That’s not a typo – a more than fourfold increase in attacks against federal officers simply doing their jobs.

"While ICE officers are being assaulted by rioters, a sanctuary politician is trying to outlaw officers wearing masks to protect themselves from being doxed and targeted by known and suspected terrorist sympathizers," McLaughlin explained.

The threats go beyond random violence.

Organized groups have created websites specifically designed to identify ICE officers and publish their personal information online.

These aren’t peaceful protesters exercising their First Amendment rights.

These are coordinated harassment campaigns designed to intimidate federal law enforcement into abandoning their duties.

And Democrat politicians like Wiener are giving them exactly what they want.

Democrats flip-flop on masks when it suits them

The sheer audacity of Wiener’s legislation becomes clear when you remember recent history.

These are the same Democrats who turned mask-wearing into a moral crusade during COVID-19.

They mandated face coverings for everyone – including young children in schools and daycare centers.

Business owners faced fines and closure for not enforcing mask requirements.

Citizens were arrested for not covering their faces in public.

Democrat governors and mayors threatened to shut down churches, restaurants, and small businesses over mask compliance.

But now, suddenly, when federal agents want to protect their identities from violent extremists, masks are a threat to democracy.

The message couldn’t be clearer: Democrats support masks when they can use them to control ordinary Americans.

They oppose masks when law enforcement officers use them for protection against the violent mobs Democrats have inspired.

Jeffries escalates the intimidation campaign

Scott Wiener isn’t operating in isolation.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries took the anti-ICE rhetoric to another level on June 3.

Speaking at a press conference, Jeffries issued what can only be described as a threat against federal law enforcement.

"Every single ICE agent who’s engaged in this aggressive overreach and are trying to hide their identities from the American people will be unsuccessful in doing that," Jeffries declared.

His next words sounded like something from an authoritarian playbook.

"This is America. This is not the Soviet Union. We’re not behind the Iron Curtain. This is not the 1930s. And every single one of them, no matter what it takes, no matter how long it takes, will of course be identified," he continued.

The irony is breathtaking.

Jeffries warns about authoritarianism while promising to hunt down and expose federal agents carrying out lawfully authorized enforcement actions.

He compares ICE to Soviet secret police while vowing to personally lead a campaign to strip away their protective anonymity.

This isn’t congressional oversight.

This is intimidation, pure and simple.

Jeffries knows exactly what happens when ICE agents get identified and doxxed – they face death threats, harassment, and violence against their families.

And he’s promising to make sure it happens to every single one of them.

The stakes couldn’t be higher

What’s happening in California represents a dangerous escalation in the Democrat war on immigration enforcement.

President Trump was elected on a clear mandate to secure America’s borders and enforce immigration law.

His administration is delivering on that promise with unprecedented efficiency and determination.

But Democrats like Wiener and Jeffries are trying to sabotage federal law enforcement through intimidation and harassment.

They can’t stop the deportations through legal channels, so they’re trying to terrorize ICE agents into backing down.

This strategy might work with some federal agencies that bend to political pressure.

But it won’t work with Trump’s ICE.

These agents didn’t sign up for easy duty – they knew they’d be facing dangerous criminals and violent cartels.

What they didn’t expect was to face coordinated attacks from elected officials who swore an oath to uphold the law.

The American people elected Trump to end the chaos at our borders.

California Democrats like Scott Wiener are learning that their sanctuary state games won’t protect them from federal law.

And no amount of political theater will stop ICE from carrying out the mission the voters demanded.
