Former White House physician Kevin O’Connor walked into a congressional hearing room on Wednesday with one mission – keep his mouth shut at all costs.
O’Connor served as Joe Biden’s personal physician throughout his presidency and appeared before the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday.
But instead of providing answers, he invoked his Fifth Amendment rights and refused to discuss what he knew about Biden’s mental condition.
Republicans have been demanding answers about what O’Connor knew and when he knew it.
But the doctor’s stone-cold silence tells the American people everything they need to know about the Biden administration’s massive coverup.
Political analyst Mark Halperin didn’t hold back during his appearance on SiriusXM’s "The Megyn Kelly Show" when he called out O’Connor for "abusing the public trust."
"He either, as I said before, he either performed tests and lied about whether they were performed and didn’t disclose the results or he didn’t perform them," Halperin explained. "Whereas it doesn’t make any sense not to have had brain scans. It doesn’t make any sense not to have had cancer tests."
The coverup goes deeper than anyone imagined
Host Megyn Kelly pointed out that O’Connor appeared to be "too close" to former First Lady Jill Biden and "has a loyalty to the Bidens as opposed to the country."
That’s exactly the problem.
O’Connor wasn’t serving the American people – he was serving as the Biden family’s personal protector.
Halperin made it clear that there’s no mystery about what happened here.
"He didn’t ever answer questions from the press," Halperin stated. "So, I don’t know, as I said before, I don’t know what crime he might be guilty of, but I do know that he’s abusing the public trust."
The evidence keeps mounting that the Biden administration was fully aware of Joe’s deteriorating condition and deliberately hid it from the American people.
After Biden’s disastrous debate against President Trump in June 2024, investigative reporting by the New York Post uncovered White House visitor logs showing a prominent neurologist had met with O’Connor months earlier.
That meeting happened months before the American people got to see just how far gone Biden really was during that debate.
It was the moment that finally exposed what Republicans had been saying all along – Biden wasn’t mentally fit to be president.

For years, Democrats and their allies in the media downplayed Biden’s obvious mental decline.
They called him "sharp" while Americans could see with their own eyes that he was anything but.
Biden’s aides brushed off videos of him stumbling, falling, and misspeaking as "cheap fakes."
But it was all a lie.
Republicans tried to warn the country about Biden’s mental problems before his 2020 campaign, but Democrats and the media attacked anyone who dared to question Biden’s fitness.
Halperin explained that the coverup was "even more insidious" than people realized.
"After four years of participating in the coverup and arguably the central figure, because he is a doctor and he does have a responsibility both to his patient and the public interest, I just think it’s hard to me to see how he’s gonna sustain this. Unless the coverup was even more insidious than we knew it to be," Halperin said.
"In other words, one thing that hasn’t been acknowledged by anybody on the inside, and he’d be considered on the inside, is that they knew how bad it was and they covered it up. Their premise is we didn’t really know," Halperin said. "If it went that far, again, I don’t know that that’s a crime, but it’s a political crime, and it’s a policy crime, and it’s an irresponsible action for a doctor who is supposed to have an obligation to the American people to have done."
The truth is finally coming out
Even after polls showed the American public viewed Biden as too old to run for a second term, the former president continued his campaign until July 21, 2024.
That’s when he finally withdrew and endorsed Kamala Harris in what turned out to be a losing effort.
Recent books about Biden’s presidency have exposed shocking details about his administration.
According to reporting by Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson, Biden’s own staff became so worried about his condition that they discussed whether he should use a wheelchair after the election.
