The Russia collusion hoax architects thought they were untouchable.
Years of protection from accountability are finally coming to an end.
And Barack Obama just got one nasty surprise that will make him regret targeting Trump.
House Speaker has zero hesitation about Obama testimony
House Speaker Mike Johnson just dropped a bombshell that has Democrats scrambling for damage control.
When asked directly about hauling former President Barack Obama in for testimony about his role in the Russia collusion hoax, Johnson didn’t hesitate for even a second.
"Well, listen, we have no concern about that," Johnson said bluntly when pressed about bringing Obama in for a deposition.¹
The Speaker made it crystal clear that Obama’s discomfort isn’t going to protect him from accountability.
"If it’s uncomfortable for him, he shouldn’t have been involved in overseeing this, which is what it appears to us has happened," Johnson continued.¹
This comes after Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard dropped her own bombshell, directly naming Obama as part of the conspiracy to manufacture intelligence against President Trump.
Gabbard didn’t mince words when she exposed what really happened during the 2016 election aftermath.
Gabbard exposes Obama’s central role in intelligence conspiracy
The newly-confirmed DNI laid out the shocking scope of Obama’s involvement in what others have called a "treasonous conspiracy."
"There’s no question in my mind that this intelligence community assessment that President Obama ordered be published which contained a manufactured intelligence document — it’s worse than even politicization of intelligence," Gabbard told Fox News host Maria Bartiromo.²
But it gets even worse.
Gabbard revealed that Obama wasn’t working alone – he had accomplices throughout the intelligence community.
"It was manufactured intelligence that sought to achieve President Obama and his team’s objective, which was undermining President Trump’s presidency and subverting the will of the American people," she explained.²
The conspiracy allegedly included former FBI Director James Comey, former CIA Director John Brennan, and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper.
All of them worked together to create the fraudulent 2017 intelligence assessment that launched years of harassment against President Trump.
Gabbard has already referred the matter to the Department of Justice for criminal investigation.
Johnson reveals Republicans knew it was a hoax all along
Speaker Johnson didn’t hold back when describing what Republicans discovered during their oversight work.
"We knew the Russia collusion thing was a hoax. They used it as a basis to attack the president mercilessly," Johnson stated.¹
The Speaker served on President Trump’s impeachment defense teams twice and saw firsthand how the manufactured intelligence was weaponized.
"As we were preparing for those defenses, as we were investigating with our oversight responsibility in the Judiciary, we recognized that the people who are being called out now were involved in a scheme," Johnson recalled.¹
What makes this even more infuriating is that the conspirators knew exactly what they were doing.
"We knew that it was a shameless, false, set of accusations, and yet, they perpetuated the lie on the American people. And they looked right under the camera and just lied, clearly. And they knew what they were up to the whole time so there must be accountability for that," Johnson continued.¹
CBN host David Brody pressed Johnson on whether he would characterize this situation using terms like "seditious conspiracy" or "treasonous conspiracy" that others have used.
"Well, I don’t know how to summarize it in — by way of description — in a snappy phrase, but I will tell you it is deeply problematic," Johnson replied diplomatically.¹
But his actions will speak louder than his measured words.
The accountability phase is finally beginning
Johnson made it clear that the American people deserve answers after years of being lied to by their own government.
"People want to see subpoenas; they want to see depositions," Brody observed. "They want to see, whether it be Brennan, Clapper, potentially the former President of the United States. Are you willing to go down that route?"¹
"Of course," Johnson said.¹
He stressed that Republicans have a constitutional obligation to uncover the truth.
"I think we have a responsibility to follow the truth where it leads and to do it in an unbiased fashion, to do effectively the opposite of what that other team did," Johnson explained.¹
This represents a complete reversal from the previous approach where Obama was treated as untouchable.
Johnson stressed that restoring faith in American institutions requires holding everyone accountable, regardless of their status.
"We’re in the process of restoring trust and rebuilding the people’s belief in our system of justice itself, and it’s an extraordinary challenge. It was brought about because people were involved in a sinister plot. So there must be accountability," Johnson declared.¹
What this means going forward
The walls are finally closing in on the architects of the Russia collusion hoax.
For years, Obama positioned himself as above the political fray while his intelligence officials did his dirty work.
That protection is now officially over.
Johnson’s willingness to subpoena a former president sends a clear message that no one is above the law when it comes to subverting American democracy.
"Those are very serious allegations with very serious implications, but we’re gonna have very serious people working on it and we will get the answers," Johnson promised.¹
The American people have waited years for accountability from the Deep State conspirators who weaponized intelligence agencies against a sitting president.
With Tulsi Gabbard at DNI and Mike Johnson wielding subpoena power in the House, that accountability is finally within reach.
Obama’s comfortable retirement may be about to get very uncomfortable.
