Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez built her entire brand on being the voice of the working class.
The socialist from New York made a career out of railing against the wealthy elite.
And AOC was utterly humiliated after one secret was exposed that she wanted buried forever.
AOC Lived It Up in Puerto Rico While Denouncing the Rich
Federal Election Commission filings just exposed the ugly truth about how AOC spent nearly $50,000 in Puerto Rico during the third quarter of 2025.
The Democrat socialist's campaign burned through $15,489.77 on luxury hotel stays in San Juan alone.¹
Hotel Palacio Provincial — a "first-class, adults-only" 19th-century property boasting "transcendent hints of the structure's grand colonial past" — got three separate payments from AOC's campaign.¹
That included a whopping $9,440.79 payment on September 29.¹
The spending didn't stop there.
AOC's campaign also dumped $3,861.20 at Hotel El Convento, another upscale property touting its "old world charm and elegance."¹
And while staying in these luxury accommodations, her campaign racked up $10,743.13 on high-end meals and catering at restaurants like Cocina Abierta, Cocina al Fondo, and Verde Mesa.¹
But here's where it gets downright obscene.
The filings show AOC's campaign spent more than $23,000 on "venue rental" at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico — the same arena where she was caught on video dancing in box seats at a Bad Bunny concert on August 10.¹
So let's get this straight. AOC visited a San Juan housing development to lecture people about gentrification.
Then she partied in luxury box seats with celebrities like LeBron James, Iggy Azalea, Penelope Cruz, and Austin Butler at Bad Bunny's concert.¹
All on donor money.
You can't make this stuff up.
This Isn't AOC's First Time Living Large on Campaign Cash
AOC's Puerto Rico spending spree is just the latest example of a disturbing pattern.
Earlier this year, filings revealed she stayed at multiple luxury hotels during her "Fighting Oligarchy" tour with socialist Senator Bernie Sanders.²
That tour saw AOC spending $3,508.92 at the upscale Vdara Hotel & Spa in Las Vegas, where rooms cost nearly $1,000 per night.²
Days before that Vegas splurge, she stood on stage with Sanders attacking the "luxurious lifestyles of billionaires and oligarchs purportedly taking over the country."³
She also dropped $3,445.59 at the lavish Asher Adams Hotel in Salt Lake City and $3,165.76 at The Leo Kent Hotel in Tucson.²
The same tour where she condemned people with "economic, political, and technological power" for destroying "the public good to enrich themselves."³
Other Fighting Oligarchy tour expenses included thousands at boutique properties like Hotel Vermont in Burlington ($6,600), the Thompson Central Park Hotel in Manhattan ($2,000), and Arlo Williamsburg in Brooklyn ($3,000).⁴
And let's not forget — AOC was caught flying first class to these socialist rallies where she lectured Americans about oligarchy.⁵
Sanders himself defended spending more than $221,000 on private jet flights for the tour by saying "You think I'm going to be sitting on a waiting line at United waiting while 30,000 people are waiting?"⁶
The multi-millionaire socialist even spent $260 on a limousine service in Montana while telling crowds about 800,000 homeless Americans sleeping "out on the street."⁷
AOC's campaign manager Oliver Hidalgo-Wohlleben tried to spin the spending. He claimed she "regularly travels to Puerto Rico to support local causes and host events that require both staff and security."¹
He called it an "investment in grassroots organizing."¹
Grassroots organizing at $9,000-a-night hotels and Bad Bunny concerts. Sure thing, pal.
Every conservative in America saw through AOC from day one.
The former bartender turned millionaire preaching socialism. Flying first class while condemning the wealthy. Staying in luxury colonial hotels while railing against gentrification.
She's always been a phony. Now the receipts prove it.
This is the socialist playbook. Preach sacrifice. Practice luxury. Blame capitalism. Enjoy its fruits.
AOC demands working Americans accept higher taxes and lower quality of life so government can redistribute wealth. Meanwhile, she's living it up on donor cash at five-star hotels and celebrity concerts.
Democrats will ignore these filings because AOC says the right things. She attacks Trump. She pushes their radical agenda. So they'll look the other way.
But voters won't forget. AOC can spin however she wants. The numbers don't lie.
While Americans struggled with inflation, she partied with celebrities on campaign cash. While families chose between groceries and gas, she stayed in colonial mansions. While Sanders lectured about homeless Americans, he flew private and rode in limos.
The mask slipped. And there's no putting it back on.
