AOC Got a Brutal Reality Check From This Democrat After Her Disgusting Charlie Kirk Rant

The Democrat Party’s radical wing just crossed a line that even their own allies couldn’t stomach.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez thought she was playing to her usual crowd when she launched into her latest tirade.

And AOC got a brutal reality check from this former Democrat after her disgusting Charlie Kirk rant.

Manchin calls out AOC’s shameful House floor performance

The House passed a resolution honoring the life and legacy of Charlie Kirk, the Turning Point USA founder who was assassinated on September 10 while speaking at Utah Valley University.

The measure should have been routine – a basic gesture of human decency after a young father was gunned down by a political extremist.

Instead, 58 Democrats turned it into a spectacle by voting against the resolution.

AOC didn’t stop there.

She took to the House floor and launched into a vicious tirade against Kirk, calling his "rhetoric and beliefs were ignorant, uneducated and sought to disenfranchise millions of Americans" and claiming the resolution would bring "great pain" to millions of Americans.¹

The Bronx socialist couldn’t resist relitigating old political battles even as Kirk’s widow and two young children were still grieving.

CNN’s Kasie Hunt asked Manchin for his reaction to AOC’s comments during an interview.

He didn’t pull any punches.

"First of all, I just saw a little while ago, and I was stunned, Kasie. I really was," Manchin told Hunt. "This is not the place and the time for that at all."²

But Manchin wasn’t finished.

"If the Democrats — if AOC and the far Left, the extreme Left I want to say — believe that’s where the party, the Democratic Party, is today, then that’ll tell you why you lost people like me, and an awful lot," he continued.

The numbers tell a devastating story about Democrat exodus

Manchin then dropped a bombshell statistic that should terrify every Democrat strategist in Washington, D.C.

"Let me tell you what you’ve lost since the last election," Manchin said. "They’ve been doing their national tour and thinking, boy, that’s something, we’re really getting into something. The Democratic Party has lost more than 160,000 Democrats that have basically left the party since the November election."

Think about that number.

160,000 people walked away from the Democrat Party since Trump’s landslide victory – enough to fill two NFL stadiums.

These aren’t fair-weather supporters or casual voters.

These are registered Democrats who got so disgusted with their party’s direction that they formally changed their registration.

"So if that’s the way the Democrat Party is going, it’s getting worse, not better," Manchin concluded.

The former West Virginia senator – who represented his deep red state for decades as a Democrat – finally left the party himself in 2024.

He’s now watching from the outside as his former colleagues self-destruct in real time.

AOC wasn’t alone in her shameful behavior

AOC led the charge, but she had plenty of company in the Democrat caucus.

Representatives Mikie Sherrill, Bennie Thompson, Pramila Jayapal, Jasmine Crockett, and dozens of others joined her in opposing the resolution.³

Even Nancy Pelosi voted against honoring a murdered political activist.

These people couldn’t set aside their partisan hatred for five minutes to show basic human decency to a grieving family.

Instead, they used Kirk’s assassination as an opportunity to relitigate political disagreements and attack a dead man who can’t defend himself.

The resolution passed 310-58, with 95 Democrats joining all Republicans in supporting it.⁴

But the damage was already done.

Manchin’s warning about the party "getting worse, not better" hit the mark perfectly.

When you’ve lost Joe Manchin – a man who spent his entire career trying to find common ground – you’ve lost the plot completely.

The Democrat Party’s mask has finally slipped all the way off.

They’re not the party of unity, compassion, or working families anymore.

They’re the party of AOC’s hateful screeds and partisan attacks on murdered conservatives.

And as those 160,000 former Democrats prove, the American people are paying attention – and walking away in disgust.
